¿Por qué tu tag es «Agü»?
Why is your tag «Agü«?
Hace ya muchos años…mucho antes de que pintara……El tag me lo puso mi gran amiga Quiena Montana. Como éramos los mayores de todo el grupo, yo la llamaba Tiíta y ella me llamaba Agüelo, luego se recortó en Agü. Me moló y con el me quedé.
Many years ago, long before I’ve painted ever… My great friend Quiena Montana gave me the tag. We were the olders of the group so I’ve called her Tiíta and she called me Agüelo, and then become Agü. I’ve liked it so it stayed.
¿Qué fue lo que te motivo para coger un spray y ponerte a pintar en la calle?
What made you grab a spray and start painting on the streets?
Sin duda la insistencia de mi grupo, yo aun no pintaba y no paraban de intentar chiscarme para pintar. Así que un día fui a verlos pintar a una pequeña exhibición, Sonbaty me dio unas latas y me dijo, ala majo, a pintar….y hasta ahora. Eso fue en el 2002 creo.
With any doubt my group’s existence, I wasn’t painting yet and they won’t stopped triying me to paint. So one day I’ve came to watch them painting on a little exhibition, Sonbaty gave me some cans and told me, there you go «nice», go painting…and until now. That was on 2002 I think.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Yo soy ilustrador, trabajé hace tiempo dibujando y tintando comic. Siempre me ha encantado el comic en blanco y negro. Me gusta trabajar de diferentes maneras, pero mi favorita sin duda es en alto contraste. Nada me gusta más que coger el blanco y negro y enguarrar toda la pared como un loco.
I’m ilustrator, I’ve worked a long time ago drawing and dying comics. I’ve always loved comic on black & white. I like to work on such a lot of ways, but my favorite it’s -without a doubt- on high contrast. I don’t like anything such as picking black & white and getting all the wall dirty as if I was crazy.
Graffiti ¿cantidad o calidad?
Graffiti, quantity or cualitiy?
Para mi calidad. Me mola tomarme el tiempo que necesite aunque funciono bastante rápido.
I bet for quality. I like to take my time but I work pretty fast.

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Pinto como me siento, y trato de mostrarlo, pero lo que busco es ir con los míos y desconectar de todo, sin más. Que cada cual vea como quiera y lo que quiera en mi trabajo.
I paint how i feel, I try to show it, but what I seek for it’s to be with my fellows and disconnect from everything, nothing else. So, everyone could see it as they want and whatever they want on my job.

¿Cuales son tus escritores favoritos?
Which are your favourite writers?
Hay mucha gente con un talento increíble, no puedo tener favoritos porque hay mucho donde escoger…si tengo que darte alguno diría «Mode 2″…pero hay tantos.
There are many people with an incredible talent, I can’t play favorites because there are plenty to choose … if I have to give any writer i’d say «Mode 2» … but there are so many.
¿Qué destacarías del graffiti español?
What would you point out of spanish graffiti?
El altísimo nivel de escritores que hay y en distintos estilos.
The high level of writers there and in different styles.
¿Cuál es tu crew?
Which is your crew?
Alto Contraste desde que empecé hasta ahora.
Alto Contraste since I started so far.
