Mi nombre viene de una fiesta en una casa donde una chica quiso bailar conmigo pero estaba demasiado ocupado pensando en qué escribir, una canción llamada Jam & Spoon de Angel estaba sonando, por lo que la chica me dijo que escribiera ángel, y me cogió de la mano. Mi abuela también me llamaba su pequeño ángel, así que supongo que algo se ajusta a mí. Twosix viene del código de teléfono de mi ciudad de origen, y por varias otras razones.
My name comes from a houseparty where a girl wanted to dance with me but I was too busy figuring out what to write, Jam&Spoon’s Angel was playing, so the girl told me to write Angel, and took me by the hand. My grandma also used to call me her little angel, so I guess it kinda’ fits me. Twosix comes from my phone code for my original city, and several other reasons.

What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Solía dibujar coches y letras desde que era un niño, y uno de mis compañeros de clase me informó, y me puso en el juego del graffiti, por aquel entonces en mi cabeza durante mucho tiempo solo había hiphop, así que era difícil de obviar el pintar. ¿Recuerdas Duck Down de KRS-One?
I used to draw cars and letters ever since I was a kid, and one of my classmates noticed, and put me in the game, I was a hiphop head for long years by then, it was an obvious direction to take. Remember KRS-One’s Duck Down?
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Hago wild style, de la vieja escuela y también estilos modernos, me gusta hacer algo diferente cada vez que creo algo, pero tratando de mantener mis elementos originales implicados. Me gustan las flechas, los cruces, las conexiones y la simetría con un giro. No hago personajes, las letras son mi vida. Escribo más de un nombre para tener más opciones.
I do wild, old school and also modern styles, I like to do something different everytime I create something, but with keeping my original elements involved. I like arrows, crossings, connections, and simmetry with a twist. Not big on characters, my letter is my life. I write more than one name to have more options.
¿Te importaría contarnos como es un día normal en tu semana?
Would you mind telling us how is your normal day during the week?
Trabajo de 9 a 6, luego conduzco hacia mi casa, me relajo con la gente que amo. Luego, cuando se van a dormir, por lo general veo algunas series o películas y hago bocetos y piezas en mi blackbook. También paso mucho tiempo en internet, en su mayoría organizando quedadas para pintar el fin de semana y recolecto fotos y navego por el mundo.
I work from 9 to 6, then drive home, chill with my loved ones. Then, when they go to sleep, I usually watch some series or movies and do sketches and pieces in my blackbook. I also spend a lot of time online, mostly organizing paintings for the weekend and collecting photos and browsing the world.

Vi la web hace mucho tiempo, cuando algunos amigos salieron aquí (Heat, Zero y otros) por lo que estoy agradecido de que finalmente yo este también con otra buena gente que sale aquí.
I saw this page a long time ago, when some of my friends got up here (Heat, Zero and others) So I’m glad I’m finally here too, with lots of cool heads up here.

What is your crew?
Formé DCK en 1995, la crew era mas activa pero cambió, pero nunca la dejaré. También estoy en The Mínk, que es un grupo de medios mixtos que se reúnen semanalmente para tratar de apoyar la motivación y los límites de cada uno y también quedamos para beber y dibujar. También soy miembro de ASM, IHP, IFA, y he estado en un montón de grupos diferentes que desaparecieron en el pasado. DCK es Destroy Create Konfuse, o Dream Cream Kids, y sigue activa. Represento a mi gente.
I formed DCK in 1995, the active crew always changed, but I never let go. I’m also in The Mínk, which is a mixed media bunch gathering weekly to push each other’s motivation and boundaries and also drink and draw. I’m also member of ASM, IHP, IFA, and have been to plenty of different gangs that disappeared in the past. DCK is Destroy Create Konfuse, or Dream Cream Kids, and is still active. I rep my people.

Hoy en día puedes aprender rápido, pero tienes que ser respetuoso con el resto, no te creas el mejor. Hay mucho talento en este mundo, no trates de vencerlos a todos. Algunos de ellos serán mejores que tú y te seguirán inspirando. Inspirate. ¡Pétalo! ¡Diviértete!

Nowadays you can learn fast but be respectful, don’t think if you can do one piece you are the best. There’s so much talent in this world, rather gather them around you, don’t try to beat them all. Some of them will be better than you and will still look up to you. Inspire. Burn! Have FUN!
