¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonyme come from?
Recibí el apodo de mi hermano mayor en 2003. el ya estaba ocupado con los graffitis desde el 96. Añadí el número 251, que representa una fecha importante del calendario para mí.
I’ve gotten the pseudonyme from my elder brother back in 2003. He was already occupied with graffiti since 96. I added the number 251, which represents an important calendar date for me.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Hubo muchos desencadenantes. No sólo el tema misterioso y aventureros, sino también la actitud no consumida y enérgica de pintar graffiti. Además, de niño descubrí un salón de la fama cerca de nuestro barrio. Era la primera vez que veía a alguien usando un spray, estaba profundamente fascinado por el olor y el sonido de esta herramienta. La motivación más grande, aunque no la última, podría haber sido mi entorno. Mi hermano y mis amigos del colegio me hicieron creer que no había nada más genial que el graffiti.
There were a lot of triggers. Not only the mysterious, adventurous issues, but also the unconsumed, energetic attitude of writing. Furthermore as a child I’ve discovered a hall of fame close-by our neighbourhood. It was the first time, that I saw someone using a spraycan, I was deeply fascinated by the smell and the sound of this tool. Least but not last, the biggest motivation might have been my environment. My brother and my friends at school made me believe that there was nothing cooler than graffiti.

What is your style?
Tengo debilidad por el estilo clásico y las letras. Cuando se trata de wildstyle o semi-salvaje, trato de centrar mi atención en la simetría, el equilibrio y la pertinacidad de cada letra. Es una especie de reclamo para mí no desestimar la estructura principal de una letra o la lógica de un estilo. Al final, un buen escritor debe ser capaz de tener éxito en cada disciplina del estilo.
I’ve got a weakness for classic style and letters. When it comes to wild- or semiwildstyle, I try to turn my attention to symmetry, balance and pertinacity of every single letter. It’s kind of a claim for me to not disregard the mainstructure of a letter or the logic of a style. In the end a good writer should be able to succeed in every style-discipline.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Claro que sí. Estaba en una pequeña torre en un callejón, por un jardín. Debe haber sido en el otoño de 2001, tardé en pitar la pieza mucho tiempo, así que pinté una pequeña y legible pieza de mi crew. Debido al hecho de que no teníamos ni idea del enfoque o de la técnica, hice las primeras líneas con el color del contorno, luego mi compañero de trabajo hizo el relleno de plata. No nos propusimos volver a trazar el contorno. Al final era un contorno polvoriento. Todavía recuerdo una sensación de libertad, la atmósfera nocturna, los ruidos y demás. Teníamos ganas de salir a una misión, preparar los sprays en el sótano y luego salir de casa. La adrenalina me enganchó a los graffitis, aunque me he convertido en un escritor de pasillos en estos días.
Sure I do. It was on a little tower at a street, that led past an allotment garden.Must have been in the autumn of 2001. It took us a lot of time, to paint a small, readable crew-piece. Due to the fact that we had no clue about the approach or the technique, I did the first lines with the outline color, then my coworker did the chrome fill in. We did not hit on retightening the outline. It sure was a dusty outline in the end. I still remember a feeling of freedom, the nocturnal atmosphere, the noises and so on. We felt like going out on a mission, preparing the spraycans in the cellar and then creeping out of the house. The adrenalinerush got me hooked on graffiti, even though I’ve become mostly a hall-writer these days.

What is your crew?
Pinto para la crew de la WKM, fundada por mi hermano y mi hermano de sangre. Hay varios significados. ¿Quién me conoce?, miserables bribones y malhechores, quiero besarte, Werner Klaus y Manfred. Hoy en día se ha hecho más grande, somos una especie de grupo conspirador. Se trata de los aspectos interpersonales.
I paint for the WKM-Crew, founded by my brother and my bloodbrother. There are serveral meanings. Who knows me?, Wretches Knaves and Miscreants, Wanna Kiss Myself, Werner Klaus und Manfred. Nowadays it has grown bigger, we are kind of a conspired group. It’s all about the interpersonal aspects.
