¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Mi nombre viene de Jello Biafra, del grupo Dead Kennedys. Fue el primer grupo de punk al que me aficioné cuando era joven y empecé a ponerlo en mis cosas.
I took my name from Jello Biafra from the band Dead Kennedys. They were the first punk band I got into when I was young and I just started putting it on stuff.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Desde que era niño siempre me han gustado los graffitis. Creo que el atractivo del graffiti es que obliga a la gente a comprometerse aunque no le guste. En mi caso, pinto principalmente trenes y me gusta la idea romántica de no saber adónde van mis piezas y verlas aparecer por todo el continente.
Ever since I was a kid I’ve always liked graffiti. I think the appeal with graffiti is that it forces people to engage even if they don’t like it. For me I primarily paint trains and I like the romantic notion of not knowing where my pieces are going and seeing them pop up around the continent.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Supongo que diría que mi estilo es de letras rectas con algo de sabor. Me gusta que mis cosas sean bastante legibles, pero también me gusta divertirme con ellas.
I guess I would say my style is straight letters with some flavor. I like to keep my stuff pretty legible but also like to have fun with them.

Creo que es genial. Creo que documentar a los escritores de graffiti y su trabajo es importante y me gusta la caridad que estas documentando.
I think it’s cool. I think documenting graffiti writers and their work is important and I like the cariety you guys are documenting.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Empecé a hacer pegatinas y plantillas en 2003-2004. Recuerdo muchas de esas cosas, ninguna de ellas especialmente notable, por supuesto. Creo que el primer stencil gigante que hice aún perdura en mi ciudad natal bajo un puente, aunque sospecho que está bastante borrado a estas alturas. No recuerdo realmente mi primera obra de graffiti, sino que fue una transición gradual de una a otra. Ahora hago pegatinas, plantillas y graffitis indistintamente, dependiendo de lo que me apetezca hacer.
I started doing stickers and stencils in 2003-2004 I remember a lot of that stuff, none of it was particulary notable, of course. I believe the first giant stencil I did is still lingering in my hometown under a bridge, although I suspect it is fairly washed away at this point. I don’t really remember my first graffiti piece it was just a gradual transition from one to the other. Now I do stickers, stencils and graffiti interchangeably depending on what I feel like doing.
