¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your tag come from?
Fue un descarte reciclado. Es el nombre que me quiso poner mi padre cuando nací. Toda la familia se puso en contra en su momento y acabó desistiendo. Me pareció una buena idea rescatarlo.
It was a recycled discard. It’s the name my father wanted to give me when I was born. The whole family was against it at the time and ended up giving up. I thought it was a good idea to rescue it.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus obras?
What do you try to say with your artworks?
Cuando voy a pintar con más gente, mi objetivo es que el muro esté cohesionado. Cuando hay demasiadas ideas en una misma imagen se puede desviar la atención de lo importante. Así que me subordino al interés general.
Cuando pinto sólo es diferente. Me atraen mucho las temáticas sociales o políticas, pero también me interesa mucho la estética por sí sola. A veces voy a pintar con una idea muy meditada y con un mensaje y otras simplemente pinto por el mero gozo de pintar.
When I go to paint with more people, my aim is for the wall to be cohesive. When there are too many ideas in the same image, it can divert attention from what is important. So I subordinate myself to the general interest.
When I paint alone it’s different. I’m very attracted to social or political themes, but I’m also very interested in aesthetics alone. Sometimes I go to paint with a well thought-out idea and a message and sometimes I just paint for the sheer joy of painting.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Empecé haciendo wildstyle. Fue lo que hizo que me entrara el gusanillo por evolucionar. Actualmente, supongo que sería realismo, aunque cada vez me interesa más deformar lo que pinto y estar menos atado a la foto.
I started doing wildstyle. That’s what gave me the bug to evolve. Nowadays, I suppose it would be realism, although I’m becoming more and more interested in deforming what I paint and being less tied to the photo.

Totalmente, fue vergonzoso. Aún así, me entusiasmó la experiencia de pintar en la calle y me motivó para mejorar. Aunque ahora sienta que tengo mucho más en control sobre lo que estoy haciendo, sigo teniendo la misma ilusión por seguir pintando y mejorar.

Totally, it was embarrassing. Even so, I was thrilled by the experience of painting in the street and it motivated me to improve. Although now I feel that I have much more control over what I’m doing, I still have the same enthusiasm to continue painting and improving.
