What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Trato que la ciudad sea un bonito lugar añadiendo color. Empecé a mediados de los 80 escribiendo en muros y trenes, en estos días prefiero hacer producciones legales con amigos con un mensaje tópico.
I try to make the city a nice place by adding colour. I started mid 80ies writing on walls and trains, in these days I prefer to make legal productions with friends, with a topic and a message.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Cuando empecé a escribir tenía 13 años y fuí infectado por la primera ola de Breakdance en aquel entonces. En 1984 empecé a taquear y en ese momento fue una aventura para mí, porque se abrierón lugares olvidados y me llevaron hacia aquel alrededor. La Fama durante un tiempo era importante al acabar los años 80, pero nunca fue la principal motivación para mí. Para mí el Graffiti es la expresión de mi deseo de hacer de este mundo un lugar mejor.
When I started to write I was 13 and got infected by the first Breakdance-wave back then. In 1984 I started tagging and at that time it was adventure to me, cause it opened forgotten places and took me around. Fame for a while was important end of the 80ies, but was never the main motivation to me. To me Graffiti is expression of my desire to make this world a better place.

Where do you like to paint?
Cualquier lugar, sino más bien un lugar tranquilo donde poder relajarse y disfrutar. Para mí pintar es también una cosa muy social.
Any place, but rather chill place where you can relax and enjoy. To me painting is also a very social thing.
¿Cuál es el estilo que usas?
What is the style you use?
Considero que mi estilo es de la vieja escuela, semi-wildstyle.
I consider my style kind of old school, semi-wildstyle.
¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you talk about this as the graffiti in your city?
Cuando empecé a escribir en trenes no había otros escritores. En mi ciudad yo era el primero en ir a los trenes. Los primeros años 90 la escena entre Rhine-Main era muy vívida y casi todos los S-trenes fueron pintados. En ese momento había más comunidad con la escena del escritor de trenes y sólo continuaban yendo a los trenes los buenos escritores. Ahora es distinto. Debido a que es más difícil pintar en trenes, al haber tanta competencia en el juego. Los escritores luchan por yardas, y ahora incluso los nuevos y malos van a los trenes. En mi punto de vista, es la clase real y no es lugar para toys o principiantes.
When i started writing on trains there was no other writers. In my city I was the first to go on trains. Early 90ies the scene among Rhine-Main was very vivid and almost all S-Trains were painted. At this time there was more communitiy with the train-writer-scene and it was only good writers to go on trains. Now it is different. Because it is harder to write on trains there is so much competition in the game. Writers fight for yards, and now even the new ones and bad ones go on trains. In my point of view, it is the royal class and nothing for toys or beginners.

Nosotros, los escritores de Graffiti no deberiamos seguir el sistema en su definición. Debemos ser diferentes a todos los consumidores, somos productivos. Segrega una cierta competición en la gente, pero debemos centrarnos en lo que tenemos en común – el amor y la pasión por pintar. Legal e ilegal es una diferencia artificial hecha por el sistema para proteger a los que tienen de los que no tienen, pero para los artistas no se trata de tener si no de ser, se trata de pintar y de expresarse uno mismo. Así que respetarse mutuamente y unirse, hace que de esta forma seamos más fuertes.
We, Graffiti-Writers should not follow the system in its definitions. We should be different than all the consumers as we are productive. Competition segregates people, but we should focus on what we have in common – the love and passion for painting. Legal and illegal is a artificial difference made by the system to protect the Haves from the Non-Haves but for artists it is not about having but being, it is about painting and expressing yourself. So respect each other and unite, cause this way we are stronger.
