¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Realmente no lo recuerdo. Pero creo que encontré que sonaba un poco agresivo por la forma en que suena al decirlo y genial en ese entonces cuando lo eligieron. De acuerdo con quien era en el año 89, por supuesto.

I don’t really remember. But I guess I found it sounded a bit attacking by the way it sounds saying it and cool back then when chosen it. According to who I was back in 89 of course.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar? 

What motivated you to get started painting?

Cuando era un niño a finales de los años 70 principios de los 80. Recuerdo que me gustaba cada vez que veía un graffiti punk, graffitis de pandillas, etc. Me impresionó mucho el hecho de que alguien no siguiera las reglas en las que nos establecíamos. Y lo místico de alguien que sale por la noche a hacer algo prohibido y al mismo tiempo intenta expresarse en un acto estético. Un poco más tarde, cuando era un joven adolescente (13 años), un chico escribió «La venta comenzó en mi clase». Yo ya estaba en el breakdance y tenía una firma ̈Raze ̈ cuando apareció con todo el concepto del graffiti. Ya sabes, un blackbook, muchas fotos, explicando todas las reglas no escritas, etc. ¡Estaba enganchado!

When I was a kid in the late 70 ́s early 80 ́s. I remember that every time I saw like punk graffiti, gang graffiti etc. I was mighty impressed by the act of somebody not following the rules we where raised into. And the mystique of someone went out at night to something forbidden and in the same time try to express them self in an esthetic act. Then a bit later when I was I young teenager (13 years old) a guy wrote Sale begun in my class. I was already into breakdance and had a tag ̈Raze ̈ when he showed up with the whole concept of graffiti. You know, a blackbook, lots photos, explaining all the unwritten rules etc. I was hooked!

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Estoy metido en el estilo clásico. Mis influencias son mayormente de los años 80 de Nueva York  con un toque de estilo europeo, pienso que este toque viene de mi zona escandinava. Prefiero grandes formatos con lo que no me viene muy bien lo del tema instagram muy de moda en estos días.

I am into classic style writing. My influences are mostly 80`s New York with a European touch, I think Scandinavian/European touch. And I prefer big formats with is not so good for myself in todays Instagram culture, haha.

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your artworks on our web ”elrincondelasboquillas.com»?

Sabes, siempre es bueno para la mayoría de los artistas estar en el centro de atención en diferentes medios. Para mostrar y de alguna manera explicar su trabajo. Y es halagador que me lo pidas a mí también.

You know, its always nice for most artist to be in the spotlight in different medias. To show and somehow explain your work. And flattering that you ask me too.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza? 

Do you remember the first piece?

Con la primera pieza, y tus sentimientos en ese momento y sigue hoy en día cuando estás pintando….

Sí. Pinté letras que creí haber logrado formar la palabra sin sentido ̈Miap ̈en un parking junto al estudio de peluquería de mi madre. Fue una producción horrible con el peor tipo de spray. Así que tuve que vivir con la vergüenza durante mucho tiempo, jaja.

With the first piece, and your feelings in that moment and nowadays when you are painting….

Yea. I painted letters which I thought I managed formed the no meaning word ̈Miap ̈on a parking lot next to my mothers hairdressing studio. It was a horrible production with the worst kind of spray. And it took ages before they buffed it. So I had to live with the shame for a long time, haha.

What is your crew?

Represento CAS crew formado por unos 20 miembros de Suecia, España, Alemania y USA.

I represent CAS crew with around 20 members i spread over Sweden, Spain, Germany and Usa
