¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Tras varios intentos con distintos nombres, cuando tenia 11 años fui cambiando de nombre, mezclaba estilos y letras que me gustasen y que sonaran bien, finalmente me quede con Dart/Dartone, y mas tarde simplifique a Dar para poder hacer piezas y firmas mas rápidamente, y unos años después añadi la S al final, Dars, por aquello de que el graffiti es la repetición masiva de tu nombre, y asi conceptualmente sonaba mas a plural.
After several attempts with different names, when I was 11 years old I kept changing the name, mixing styles and letters that I liked and that sounded good, finally I stayed with Dart/Dartone, and later I simplified to Dar to be able to make pieces and signatures more quickly, and some years later I added the S at the end, Dars, because graffiti is the massive repetition of your name, and so conceptually it sounded more plural.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Cuando tenia mas o menos 10 años, siempre que salía del colegio y andaba por mi barrio, no paraba de ver tags y me alucinaban esas letras locas que se veían por todos lados con unos estilos muy guapos. Me quedaba atontado viéndolas y pensando como seria el proceso para poder llegar a hacer ese tipo de pintadas, ya que todavía no conocía nada acerca del mundillo del graffiti.
When I was about 10 years old, whenever I left school and walked around my neighborhood, I kept seeing tags and I was amazed by those crazy letters that were seen everywhere with very cool styles. I was stunned seeing them and thinking how would be the process to get to make that kind of graffiti, since I still knew nothing about the graffiti world.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
El estilo con el que mas identificado me siento es ‘’wildstyle’’, todo lo relacionado con wild style y estilos clásicos tanto de EEUU como de Europeos me gusta mucho, aunque mis piezas no las consideraría ‘’wildstyle’’ por que no son muy agresivas y siempre añado algunos toques mas clásicos, se podría decir que es una mezcla entre ambas corrientes.
The style with which I feel more identified is »wildstyle», everything related to wild style and classic styles both from USA and Europe I like a lot, although my pieces I would not consider »wildstyle» because they are not very aggressive and I always add some more classic touches, you could say that it is a mixture of both currents.

Es una buena idea que todo el mundo pueda saber mas de ti de forma escrita, hoy en día todo el contenido es visual o audio y cada vez se ve menos texto, volvemos al blog de toda la vida.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Si me acuerdo que fue en el 99, hicimos una pieza grupal y un ‘’Bart Simpson Skater‘’, en un puente donde nos solíamos reunir la crew para planear nuestras aventuras, por desgracia no tengo foto, ponía DRK que era la crew de esa época, la hicimos entre varios componentes de aquella crew, en esa época era muy común hacer piezas grupales por que los sprays no estaban tan accesibles, recuerdo que esa pieza la pintamos con Pinty plus y Vaiven.
If I remember it was in 99, we made a group piece and a »Bart Simpson Skater», on a bridge where we used to meet the crew to plan our adventures, unfortunately I have no photo, it said DRK which was the crew of that time, we did it among several components of that crew, at that time it was very common to make group pieces because the sprays were not so accessible, I remember that we painted that piece with Pinty plus and Vaiven.
