¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Primero empecé a escribir Drips, no estoy seguro de dónde vino ese tag. Después de un tiempo añadía una «A» o «ER» y dejaba caer la «S» sólo para cambiarla un poco. Me gustaba como la «ER» fluía al final, así que lo deje un poco atascada.
First started writing Drips, not sure really where it came from. After a little while I would add an ‘A’ or ‘ER’ and drop the ‘S’ just to change it up a bit. I like how the ‘ER’ flows at the end so it kind of stuck.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Creo que desde muy joven me fascinaba cómo las letras podían tener tanto estilo/encanto. Eso me llevó a tratar de crear algo por mí mismo.
I think from a young age I was fascinated at how letters could have so much style/funk. That drove me to try and create something myself.

What is your style?
No creo que tenga un cierto «estilo» pero me gusta cambiarlo de una pieza a otra. Definitivamente tengo grandes influencias de Brisbane (Australia) donde empecé a pintar.
I don’t think I have a certain ‘style’ but I do like to change it up from piece to piece. Definitely have huge influences from Brisbane (Australia) where I started to paint.

Do you remember the first piece?
La primera pieza estaba en un gran desagüe cerca de la escuela. Pintado con las boquillas de pintura más mierda, dos azules con contorno negro. Creo que fue en 2001.
First piece was down in a big drain near school. Painted with the shittest paint/ stock nozzles, two blue fade with black outline. Think it was in 2001.
