¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Todo empezó como una broma de los compañeros del colegio ya que yo vivía en una calle que se llama Archiduque Carlos. El número 103 hace referencia a la suma de los números de mi fecha de nacimiento, inspirándome en la tradición de los escritores de Nueva York, que ponían el número de su calle al final del tag.
It all started as a joke with my schoolmates because I lived in a street called Archduke Charles. The number 103 refers to the sum of the numbers of my date of birth, inspired by the tradition of New York writers, who put the number of their street at the end of the tag.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Todo empezó por mi pasión por el baloncesto. Cuando veía vídeos de Street Ball, me fijaba siempre en los graffitis y alucinaba con el tamaño de las obras. Desde pequeño me gustaba mucho dibujar y crear personajes, por lo tanto cuando conseguí mis primeros sprays empecé a reproducir mis personajes, cosa que era poco común ya que casi todo el mundo comenzaba con letras.
It all started because of my passion for basketball. When I watched Street Ball videos, I always looked at the graffiti and was amazed by the size of the artwork. Since I was a kid I loved to draw and create characters, so when I got my first sprays I started to reproduce my characters, which was uncommon since almost everyone started with letters.

What is your style?
Mi estilo es ilustrativo y está influenciado por la animación de personajes sin contorno, con textura e iluminación, como podemos ver en las películas de Pixar.
My style is illustrative and is influenced by non-contour character animation, with texture and lighting, as we can see in Pixar films.

Do you remember the first piece?
¡Claro! Mi primera obra me hizo mucha ilusión. Fue en el año 91 en un solar abandonado de mi ciudad. Utilicé solo negro y fue un personaje con una pelota de baloncesto a primer trazo.
Of course! I was very excited about my first work. It was in 1991 in an abandoned lot in my city. I used only black and it was a character with a basketball in the first line.
