¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Mi hermano y un amigo intimo fueron los que me metieron. Fue realmente después de ver la película Style Wars lo que me hizo que empezara a pintar. Nunca volvió a ser como antes después de eso.
My brother and a close friend were the ones that got me going. It was really after watching that movie Style Wars that I started painting. I never looked back after that.

What is your style?
Mi estilo es sencillo. letras legibles limpias con estilo y colores.
My style is simple. Clean readable letters with style and colors.

Do you remember the first piece?
Sí. la primera pieza que hice fue en una pared de un campo de pelota raqueta en mi barrio. En realidad, no tenia demasiados colores y era ilegal. Siempre he tenido mucha influencia de mi colega de crew DAR que siempre pensaba que tenia un estilo natural. Creo que fue probablemente en el año 1990. Mi tag ha cambiado. Mi estilo ha evolucionado pero es el mismo estilo sencillo de entonces pero contando que ahora tengo bastante más práctica.
Yes. The first one I did was on a raquet ball court wall in my neighborhood. Not really too many colors. It was ilegal too. I’ve always had a lot of influence from my crew mate DAR who I’ve always thought was a natural with style. I think it was probably in the 1990. My tag has changed. My style has evolved. Its the same simple style as then just now I have enough practice.

Where would you like to paint?
Muchos lugares en mi lista. Grecia, Rusia, China y Egipto están en la cima de la lista en este momento.
So many places on my list. Greece, Russia, China, and Egypt are at the top of my list right now

Can you talk us about the graffiti in your city?
Me encanta mi ciudad y aquellos que la representan. Miami es mas que la propia ciudad también tiene suburbios. La mayor parte de los mejores escritores de aquí han salido de los suburbios. Con el festival Art Basel, todos los años por ahora, ha permitido que una gran cantidad de escritores que no son reconocidos por petar en la calle consigan ser expuestos. Esta llegando a ser más aceptado esto. Durante mis primeros años pintando no había una escena tan grande y era más underground.
I love my city and those representing it. Miami is more suburbs than city. Most of the best writers come out of the suburbs here. With Art Basel coming every year now, it’s allowed a lot of writers down here that aren’t really street bombers get exposure. Its become more accepted. During my earlier years there wasn’t as big of a scene down here and more underground. Miami Dade County all day!

How many cans have you bought in your life?
Buff tio. Es seriamente un hobby bastante caro. No me puedo imaginar lo que podría tener si no le hubiera dado a la pintura de spray.
Oh man. It is a seriously expensive hobbie. I can’t imagine what I could have if I did not burn it on spray paint.

Most of my favorite writers are in my crew. I’ve been lucky enough to have some amazing talent around me. Also they have some really extreme personalities with so much drive and determination.
