¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Empecé a escribir Esko/Eskoh en 2005, después de haber escrito antes un par de nombres diferentes. Realmente me gustaron las letras y pude agregar la H cuando quería tener 5 letras en lugar de 4.
I Started writing Esko/Eskoh in 2005 having wrote a couple of different names before that. Really I just liked the letters and could add the H when I wanted to have 5 letters instead of 4.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Siempre me interesó dibujar y luego comencé a ver graffitis en donde vivía, una pieza plata en particular por la que pasaba cuando iba al colegio despertó mi interés y fue a partir de ahí lo que me hizo empezar a pintar.
I was always into drawing growing up anyway and then I started to notice graffiti around the place, one chrome piece in particular that I walked past going to school sparked my interest and it went from there.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
No sé cómo describiría mi estilo, realmente solo trato de divertirme con él y asegurarme de que disfruto pintando, quiero pintar letras que lo peten cuando se quiten los adornos, pero en realidad solo se trata de ver lo que sucede.
I don’t know how I’d describe my style really I just try have fun with it and make sure I’m enjoying painting, I want to paint letters that will hold up when any frills are stripped back but really its just about seeing what happens.

Do you remember the first piece?
No sé si se le puede llamar pieza pero una de las primeras veces que pinté fue en un coche quemado con unos amigos. Recuerdo que realmente lo disfruté. Muchos de nosotros pintamos ese día, solo dos del grupo todavía pintamos ahora.
I don’t know if you could call it a piece but one of the first times I painted was on a burnt out car with some friends. I remember just really enjoying it. A lot of us painted that day, only two of us from the group still paint now.
