¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Fabs nació por el total de letras que tenia mi antiguo tags decres, en ese momento en mis inicios encontraba que era demasiado largo para pintar y lo abrevie a Fab y con el tiempo se me hacia pequeño pintarlo y decidí agregar la S para darle mas movimiento al diseño y finalmente nació FABS.
Fabs was born because of the total of letters that my old tags decres had, at that time in my beginning I found it was too long to paint and I abbreviated it to Fab and with time it became too small to paint it and I decided to add the S to give more movement to the design and finally FABS was born.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
El nivel de mi ciudad en esos años, veía mucho graffiti pero no tanto personaje, pero si muchas letras y estilo de distintos escritores, todos wildstyles fue el detonante que me hizo enamorar de ese estilo y el cual hice mi rama a seguir. Gracias a la gente de mi ciudad por crear una de las escuelas mas grandes de wilds en Chile.
The level of my city in those years, I saw a lot of graffiti but not so much character, but many letters and style of different writers, all wildstyles was the trigger that made me fall in love with that style and which I made my branch to follow. Thanks to the people of my city for creating one of the biggest schools of wilds in Chile.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
WILDSTYLE sureño. De los mas enredados que puedes encontrar en Chile ya que siempre esa fue mi meta, complicar el estilo y que los reales WILDSTYLERS digan fuaaa como logra entender eso?.
Mi estilo va dedicado a los que les gustan las letras exóticas, los que se detienen a ver el movimiento de estas, los detalles y entender lo que pasa por La mente del escritor. Debe tener actitud, agresividad y versatilidad, que sea algo impactante visualmente.
Southern WILDSTYLE. One of the most convoluted that you can find in Chile, since that was always my goal, to complicate the style and that the real WILDSTYLERS say fuaaa how can he understand that?
My style is dedicated to those who like exotic lyrics, those who stop to see the movement of these, the details and understand what goes through the writer’s mind. It must have attitude, aggressiveness and versatility, something visually striking.

Me parece un honor compartir espacio digital con grafiteros que veía de pequeño y ahora puedo estar con ellos. Es una buena fuente de difusión de mi estilo ya que siento que con el pasar de los años nadie quiere exigirse y complicar su estilo. Todos quieren algo rápido y fácil.
I find it an honor to share digital space with graffiti artists that I saw as a child and now I can be with them. It’s a good source of diffusion of my style because I feel that as the years go by no one wants to be demanding and complicate their style. Everyone wants something quick and easy.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Por su puesto, junto a mi hermano mayo y un amigo pintamos unas panderetas, compramos pintura y sprays. No sabia como utilizarlo y me quedo horrible jajaja ahí aprendí como era el sistemas, sin caps ni todas las cosas que hay actualmente en el mercado. hoy en día me alegro mucho porque si no me hubiera equivocado y arreglado una y otra vez no estaría haciendo lo que hoy hago.
Of course, together with my brother May and a friend we painted some tambourines, we bought paint and sprays. I did not know how to use it and it was horrible hahaha there I learned how the system was, without caps or all the things that are currently on the market. Today I am very happy because if I had not made mistakes and fixed again and again I would not be doing what I do today.

El wildstyle es uno de los estilos más difíciles dentro del género a mi parecer. Para hacerlo debes permitir equivocarte y seguir dándole a pesar de todo. Pero la satisfacción de terminar, dar 2 pasos hacia atrás y ver lo que lograste nadie te lo quitara… Pero siempre haz lo que te haga sentir bien y contento. Lo demás que se vaya a la mierda. Larga vida al wildstyle y los reales wildstaleros. Paz.
Wildstyle is one of the most difficult styles within the genre in my opinion. To do it you have to allow yourself to make mistakes and keep going no matter what. But the satisfaction of finishing, taking 2 steps back and seeing what you’ve achieved, no one will ever take away from you… But always do what makes you feel good and happy. The rest can go to hell.
