¿Por qué tu tag es Fedor?
Why is your tag Fedor?
Fedor es una palabra portuguesa que significa hedor, que es básicamente algo que huele mal. solía escribir hace unos años Blast, pero desde que tengo un proyecto musical con el mismo nombre, pensé que debería escoger uno nuevo y mejor para el graffiti. Elegi esta palabra porque el mal olor puede atravesar cualquier cosa de una manera divertida.Olores raros son fáciles de recordar también.
Mis personajes y fondos siempre por lo general cuentan con muchas texturas con humo así que se crea mucho con el nombre que elegí.
Fedor is a portuguese word that means stink, which is basically something that smells really bad. I used to write using the tag Blast a few years ago, but since i have a musical project with the same name i figured i should pick a new and better name for graffiti. I chose this word because the bad smell can be thought of as something kind of funny. Weird odours are easy to remember also.
My characters and background usually feature lots of smoke textures and slime stuff, so i think it is related pretty well to the name i picked.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Mis piezas no siempre tienen un mensaje. Algunas veces solo es una mezcla de formas y colores que pienso que este trabajo esta bien junto.
En letras es basicamente la búsqueda de encontrar formas y estilos. Por el momento estoy trabajando algunas veces mas orgánicamente. También uso personajes muy a menudo, el cual es un tipo de criatura, una nueva raza, una mezcla de lobo, mapache ardilla. La intención de ser la marca registrada de mi nombre.
Si una pieza tiene algún tipo de mensaje, es frecuente relacionarlo con alguna movida que haya sucedido durante mi vida. No hago movidas con mensajes politicos o cualquier cosa como esta.
My pieces don’t always have a message. Sometimes it’s just a mix of shapes and colors that i think that work good together.
In letters it’s basically a quest for finding different shapes and styles. I am working on sometimes more organic at the moment. I also use a character very often, which is some kind of creature, a new breed, a mixture of wolf, raccoon squirrel. Thats meant to be the trademark for my name.
If a piece has some kind of message, its often related to stuff that happen to me during my life. I don’t usually do stuff with political message or anything like that.

I have seen the website and there are so many great atists featured on it. I’m just proud and thankful to be part of this.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Aprendí a dibujar con mi abuelo cuando era realmente joven. Después empecé viendo algunas piezas en mi país e insultantemente me enamore de esto. conocí alguna gente en la escuela que estaban también interesados y empezamos todos a hacerlo juntos.
I learned drawing with my grandfather when i was really young. Later on i started seeing some pieces in my country and instantly fell in love with it. I met some people at school who were also interested and we all started doing it together.
¿Dónde te gusta pintar?
Where do you like to paint?
No hay muchos muros legales en Porto. Por lo que teníamos que ir a fábricas abandonadas. Llegue a conocer lugares impresionantes, que son muy tranquilos en donde el paisaje proporciona la imagen final. Sin embargo prefiero pintar en la calle. Ahora el ayuntamiento nos esta permitiendo pintar en algunos puntos más, cerca del centro y eso es lo que más me gusta.
There wasn’t many legal walls in Porto. So we had to go to abandoned factories. I got to know some awesome places, that are very quiet and the landscape provides you with nice final picture. I would rather paint in the street though. Now the city council is allowing us to paint in some more spots, near the centre and thats what i like the most.
¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you talk us about graffiti scene in your city?
Como dije antes, Porto solía ser un lugar muy restringido en términos de muros legales. Hoy en día movidas nuevas están ocurriendo y estoy muy emocionado por esto. Teniendo la movida que necesites y muros decentes, permitiendo crecer a escritores. Algunas veces la evolución no solo depende del trabajo, necesitas tener las verdaderas herramientas para esto.
As i said before, Porto used to be a very restricted place in terms of legal walls. Nowadays new stuff is happening and were are very excited about this. Having the stuff you need and decent walls, let us grow as artists. Sometimes evolution doesn’t just depend on your work, you need to have the right tools for it.
¿Cuál es tu crew?
What is your crew?
Mi crew por el momento es colectivo Rua. Los otros miembros son Frederico Draw, The Okerland y Alma aka Contra. Tenemos a Ivan (No ames) dedicado a la parte del diseño. Adoro trabajar con estos tíos. Admiro todo sus trabajos y aprendemos mucho de cada uno. También somos amigos y pienso que esto es una de las partes mas importantes de formar una crew.
My crew at the moment is colectivo Rua. The other graffiti members are Frederico Draw, The Okerland and Alma aka Contra. We still have Ivan ( Don´t love ) taking care of the design part. I love working with these guys. I admire all of their work and we learn a lot from each other. We are also close friends, and i think that´s one of the most important parts of forming a crew.
