Where does your pseudonym come from?
Siempre firme con mi propio nombre y le añadí el ‘wey’ porque me flipan las rancheras mexicanas.
I always signed my own name and added the ‘wey’ because I love Mexican rancheras.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Tenía desde pequeño una necesidad de pintar y es lo que a día de hoy me saca a la calle a pintar a diario.
I had a need to paint since I was a child and that is what still takes me out to the street to paint every day.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Utilizo la figuración realista como hilo conductor con el espectador.
I use realistic figuration as a common thread with the viewer.

Mi primera pieza la pinte en el año 1999 en el patio de un amigo.
I painted my first piece in 1999 in a friend’s backyard.
