Me llamo Jose, fue solamente un juego de letras.

What motivated you to get started painting?
Cuando era chaval, a principios/mediados de los años 90, había muchos escritores en mi barrio (Villaverde Bajo) como Thor o Tomi.
Me flipaba ver lo que pintaban, así que un día me junté con algunos colegas del barrio, que ha día de hoy seguimos siendo amigos y tenemos la crew Dkb, y decidimos hacer lo que hacían ellos. 27 años después aquí seguimos.
When I was a kid, in the early/mid 90s, there were many writers in my neighborhood (Villaverde Bajo) like Thor or Tomi. I was amazed to see what they painted, so one day I got together with some friends from the neighborhood, who are still friends today and we have the Dkb crew, and we decided to do what they did. 27 years later, here we are.

No sabría definirte como un “tipo de estilo” busco que sea algo personal y que la gente lo reconozca como mío.
I wouldn’t know how to define you as a «type of style» I look for it to be something personal and for people to recognize it as mine.

Si, me acuerdo perfectamente ponía Jek y era un plata con borde Erika o algo similar de Felton. El relleno con un “tanque” un bote de 400ml y el trazo con un “pequeño” de 200ml y su fat Cap de punto negro. Me jode muchísimo no tener fotos de esa pieza.
Yes, I remember perfectly, it said Jek and it was a silver with an Erika edge or something similar from Felton. The filling with a «tank» a 400ml bottle and the stroke with a «small» 200ml and its black dot fat Cap. It annoys me so much not having photos of that piece.
