¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Mi apodo viene de mi firma “Jn2”, que es una abreviatura de Juan2 o Juanchu. Cuando empecé a pintar usaba “Jn” como firma, que eran la primera y la ultima letra de mi nombre. En esa época había alguien mas pintando como Juan, por lo que decidí incluir el numero 2 a la firma. A lo largo de los años creció un interés alrededor del numero 2, he pintado multiples piezas utilizándolo como elemento principal de la pieza.
My pseudonym comes from my tag «Jn2,» which is an abbreviation of Juan2, or Juanchu. When I first started painting, I used the tag «Jn,» derived from Juan. At that time, someone else was already using the name Juan, so I decided to add the number 2, creating my tag «Jn2.» Over time, I developed a passion for the number 2, and it has since become a core element in many of my pieces.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Desde siempre me ha gustado dibujar, y a los 12 años fue cuando me sentí intrigado por descifrar eso que veía por las calles de mi ciudad que llamaban graffiti. Al principio no tenía ni idea de qué era exactamente o como funcionaba, simplemente veía letras, muñecos y fondos, y que quería aprender como hacerlo. Empecé dibujando todo lo que podía, con la idea de mejorar, lo que pronto me llevo a coger unos sprays y junto con unos amigos pintar mi primera pieza. Fue un desastre… jajaja!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved drawing. When I was around 12 years old, I became fascinated by the challenge of deciphering this thing called graffiti that I kept seeing on the streets of my hometown. Initially, I had no idea what it was or how it worked. All I knew was that it involved letters, characters, and backgrounds, and I was determined to learn. So, I started sketching as much as I could, trying to improve. This quickly led me to buy some spray cans, and with a group of friends, I attempted to paint my first piece. It was a disaster… haha!
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Mi estilo parte de la idea primigenia del graffiti, las letras. Siempre he estado altamente influenciado por el trabajo de Daim, Loomit o Delta, siendo el 3d la esencia de mi estilo. Con el paso de los años evolucioné hacia una mezcla entre 3d y formas abstractas, buscando siempre cierto dinamismo en las piezas, hacerlas danzar armónicamente en la pared.
My style originated from the fundamental idea of graffiti—letters. I’ve always been influenced by artists like Daim, Loomit, and Delta, with 3D elements forming the foundation of my work. Over the years, my style has evolved into a blend of 3D and abstract shapes, always striving to create dynamism in my pieces, making them seem to dance on the wall.

Sinceramente valoro positivamente está oportunidad, creo que es muy importante dejar constancia de mi trabajo y por supuesto esto forma parte de ello. Cualquier cosa que no digamos o hagamos visible al resto nunca habrá existido, es por ello que te agradezco la oportunidad de compartir un poquito de mi.
I greatly value this opportunity. I believe it’s important to keep a record of my work, and this is part of that process. Anything we don’t say or share ceases to exist, so thank you for the opportunity to share a bit of myself.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Por supuesto! Fue en mi ciudad natal, Orihuela, alrededor de 1996. Para ser honesto fue un auténtico desastre y nunca llegué a terminarla. Tenía unos 13 años, y llevaba como un año bocetando, por lo que sentí que era hora de poner en práctica lo que estaba practicando en papel. Pillé 5 botes de spray y con la ayuda de unos amigos, cuando fuimos a empezar descubrí que ninguno tenía experiencia previa jajaja,
Oh yes! My first attempt was in my hometown, Orihuela, around 1996. It was a complete disaster, and the piece was never finished. I was about 13 years old at the time, and after a year of sketching, I felt ready to bring my ideas to life on a wall. I got five spray cans, and with the help of a few friends, I tried to complete the piece. We were all in over our heads—none of us really knew what we were doing. I outlined the piece first and then filled it in, but we were naive and completely clueless. As I mentioned, the piece remained unfinished, and I felt incredibly frustrated. But that only fueled my motivation to keep pushing and improve.

Agradecerte nuevamente la oportunidad y darte la enhorabuena por el trabajo que llevas a cabo durante tantos años. También me gustaría mencionar que si a día de hoy hago lo que hago es en gran parte por todos aquellos que me han ayudado y apoyado en el camino, en especial Mr. Chapu, Miedo12, mis compañeros de GFX y por supuesto el amor de mi vida, mi mujer Rita. Gracias de corazón por todos estos años de aventuras, risas y muchos muros.
