¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Se me ocurrió mi apodo más o menos al principio, cuando empecé a pintar graffiti. Siempre conservé el nombre y ahora lo tengo desde hace tanto tiempo que me resultaría difícil escribir uno nuevo.
I came up with my pseudonym pretty much at the beginning, when I started painting graffiti. I always kept the name and now I’ve had it for so long that it would be difficult for me to write a new one.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Quería tener un «hobby guay», pero era demasiado poco atlético para montar en patinete.
I wanted to have a “cool hobby” but was too un-athletic to skateboard.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?
What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?
Hay muchas cosas problemáticas sobre el graffiti: los botes de spray son malos para el medio ambiente, para la salud, pintar graffiti puede ser peligroso, puedes meterte en problemas con la ley, etc. Pero para mí, personalmente, las cosas buenas superan a las malas. Pero para mí, personalmente, las cosas buenas superan a las negativas. Una de las mejores cosas es que, estés donde estés en el mundo, enseguida conoces a gente con la que puedes pasártelo bien. A lo largo de los años, he hecho muchos buenos amigos gracias al graffiti.
There are a lot of things that are problematic about graffiti – spraycans are bad for the environment, bad for your health, spraying graffiti can be dangerous, you can get in trouble with the law, and so on. But for me personally, the great things outweigh the negatives. One of the best things is that wherever you are in the world you quickly get to know people with whom you can have a good time. Over the years, I’ve made a lot of good friends thanks to graffiti.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Empecé a pintar graffiti en 2002. Una de mis primeras obras era roja y tenía un contorno plata. Por aquel entonces me parecía bastante aburrido que todo el mundo utilizara el plata como relleno. Así que quise hacer algo diferente y se me ocurrió pintar el contorno con plata. Por desgracia, la pintura goteaba hasta el suelo y el cuadro quedó con una mancha. La «pieza» sobrevivió unos años pero nunca le hice una foto.
I started painting graffiti in 2002. One of my very first pieces was red and had a chrome outline. I found it pretty boring back then that everyone was using chrome as a fill in. So I wanted to do something different and had the idea to paint the outline with chrome. Unfortunately the paint ran all the way to the floor and the painting was a single stain. The “piece” survived for a few years but I never took a photo of it.
