Where does your pseudonym come from?
Mi seudónimo KAY2 fue creado por mi amigo, el escritor de graffitis GR1.
Mientras pensaba en mi seudónimo cuando empecé a hacer graffitis, se le ocurrió un nombre de fácil pronunciación combinando el alfabeto, empezando por el acrónimo de mi nombre al lado. Así que lo utilicé.
My pseudonym KAY2 was built by my friend, Graffiti writer GR1.
While I was thinking about my pseudonym when I started graffiti, he came up with an easy-pronunciation name by combining the alphabet, starting with the an acronym for my name next side. So I just used it.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Antes de hacer graffitis, asistía a una universidad de arte. Fui a la universidad de arte porque me gustaba la pintura, pero lo que aprendí allí no era divertido. Por supuesto, tampoco era un estudiante sincero.
Entonces conocí el graffiti a través de mi música favorita de siempre y de la cultura underground.
Lo probé una vez porque tenía curiosidad por los ingredientes llamados spray, y fue muy divertido dibujar con spray y empecé con más preguntas sobre el graffiti y la cultura callejera, e intenté conocer a muchos escritores con él.
Before I did graffiti, I was attending an art college. I went to art college because I liked painting, but what I learned there wasn’t fun. Of course, I wasn’t a sincere student either.
Then I got to know graffiti through my usual favorite music and underground culture.
I tried it once because I was curious about the ingredients called spray, and it was so fun to draw with spray and I started with more questions about graffiti and street culture, and I tried to meet many writers with it.

What is your style?
Principalmente hago pintura foto-realista (graffiti) y arte de sitio específico (street art), y también pinto mis letras con escritores.
I mainly do photo realistic painting (graffiti) and site-specific art(street art), and I also painting my letters with writers.

No sé mucho sobre elrincondelasboquillas.com. Pero pienso positivamente en poder interactuar, influir en el trabajo de los demás a través de estas obras.
I don’t know much about elrincondelasboquillas.com. But I think positively about being able to interact, influence each other’s work through these works.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Me acuerdo, pero es difícil encontrar el dibujo. Pero tengo el primer dibujo que hice con otro escritor. Esa pieza fue con GR1.
Cuando empecé a hacer graffiti, GR1 fue el artista más importante para mí. Me dio mucha información sobre el arte callejero y el graffiti. Debido a su influencia, hizo varios intentos.
I remember, but it’s hard to find the picture. But I have the first picture I drew with another writer. That piece was whit GR1.
When I started graffiti, GR1 was the most important artist for me. He gave me a lot of information about street art as well as graffiti. Due to his influence, he made various attempts.

What is your crew?
EKS es una crew de graffiti, pero no realiza actividades de graffiti a través de la crew. writers, bomber, streetartist, tattooer, etc. son formas diferentes de trabajar, pero son crews sociales con gente que reconoce el estilo y las habilidades de los demás.
EKS is a graffiti crew, but it doesn’t do graffiti activities through the crew. writer, bomber, streetartist, tattooer, etc. are different ways of working, but they are social crews with people who recognize each other’s style and skills.
