¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Proviene de Kiyoshi, que significa puro o limpio en japonés, pero al ser muy largo solo tome las consonantes K-Y-S y le agregue las de vocales de mi nombre propio A-E, al combinarlas resulto un “sinónimo” de calle.
It comes from Kiyoshi, which means pure or clean in Japanese, but as it is very long I only took the consonants K-Y-S and added the vowels of my own name A-E, combining them I got a ‘synonym’ for street.

What motivated you to get started painting?
Me motivo ver piezas, bombas y caracteres en cuadernos de mis compañeros de universidad.
I like to see pieces, bombing and characters in the notebooks of my university classmates.

Me gusta la idea de expandir el graffiti, que llegue a otras personas y pongan de referencia países que no son muy conocidos por pintar.
I like the idea of expanding graffiti, reaching out to other people, and putting countries that are not well known for painting as a reference.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Tengo bien presente mi primera pieza, fue la primera vez que camine más de 15km (9 millas) para llegar a un spot, la estructura de mis letras eran super rectas, sin extensiones y la combinación de colores que elegí eran muy malos, fue azul oscuro y negro, tenía tantas ganas de pintar que utilice pintura de aceite para rellenar mis letras, taparon la “producción” como a la semana pero cuando pasaba por el spot me motivaba a querer seguir pintando.
I have well in mind my first piece, it was the first time I walked more than 15km (9 miles) to get to a spot, the structure of my letters were super straight, no extensions and the combination of colours I chose were very bad, it was dark blue and black, I wanted to paint so much that I used oil paint to fill my letters, they covered the ‘production’ after about a week but when I passed by the spot it motivated me to keep on painting.

Hacer graffiti me llena, es casi una obsesión, el hacer letras y que cada pieza tenga su reto ya sea porque faltan materiales, el lugar es muy caliente, una nueva composición o probar una nueva técnica hace que todo sea más divertido y te aleja de la monotonía. Si les gusta pintar no dejen de hacerlo, no por constancia, ni para redes si no para uno mismo.
Doing graffiti fills me up, it’s almost an obsession, making letters and each piece has its own challenge whether it’s because the materials are missing, the place is too hot, a new composition or trying a new technique makes everything more fun and takes you away from the monotony. If you like painting, don’t stop doing it, not for constancy, not for networks but for yourself.
