¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Como me llamó Francisco, un día un amigo le dio por llamarme franciskens, y después de darle unas vueltas y probar al final me gustó kens y me lo quede, han habido otros nombres a lo largo del tiempo como el primero que fue Moe.
My name is Francisco, one day a friend gave him the idea of calling me franciskens, and after a few thinking and trying it out in the end I liked kens and I kept it, there have been other names over time like the first one which was Moe.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
En el instituto en mi clase estaba Deri10 y boceteaba en clase, cuando lo vi inmediatamente supe que quería formar parte de esto, fue una sensación increíble, él me enseño a bocetear y lo que era este mundo.
In high school in my class there was Deri10 and he was sketching in class, when I saw him I immediately knew I wanted to be part of this, it was an incredible feeling, he taught me how to sketch and what this world was.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?
What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?
Lo que más, es la sensación de cuando estoy pintando de que no existe nada más en el mundo que la pieza y yo, es un estado mental increíble, soy adicto a esa sensación, lo que menos, sinceramente no hay nada, por decir algo diría que me hubiese gustado haber tenido más habilidad pintando.
What I like the most is the feeling when I am painting that there is nothing else in the world but the piece and me, it is an incredible state of mind, I am addicted to that feeling, what I like the least, honestly there is nothing, to say something I would say that I would have liked to have been more skilled at painting.

Me hace gracia, porque yo realmente no soy nadie, pero bueno aquí estamos, así que y por qué no?
It is funny because I’m really nobody in this graffiti world, but here we are, so why not?
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
En 1996, con mi amigo del instituto Deri10, el me llevo a comprar un par de latas y me llevo a una pared a pintar, puse black rose, no se ni porque me acuerdo que había unas pompas del rosa y del bop y sin querer tape un poco de una y buff estuve unos días que lo pasé fatal, jaja, en realidad no fue nada pero claro en ese momento lo pasé mal.
Desde el principio claro que ha cambiado mucho, desde hace unos años atrás ya no tanto, es más una evolución sobre lo que hay, pero si estoy contento, pinte más o menos, ya sea papel, pared o digital, mi cabeza siempre está pensando en el graffiti y como mejorar mi estilo, por eso aunque este tiempo sin pintar sigo avanzando.

From the beginning of course it has changed a lot, from a few years ago not so much, it’s more an evolution of what there is, but if I’m happy, whether I paint more or less, whether it’s paper, wall or digital, my head is always thinking about graffiti and how to improve my style, that’s why even though I haven’t painted for a long time I’m still moving forward.

Si miro hacia atrás hay muchas cosas que me gustaría haber hecho y muchas que me he perdido por cosas de la vida, pero bueno, aquí sigo y lo sigo disfrutando, el pasado pasado es, mirar hacia delante y disfrutar de lo que vaya viniendo.
If I look back, there are many things I would like to have done and many things I have missed out on because of life, but well, I’m still here and I’m still enjoying it, the past is the past, look forward and enjoy what’s to come.
