¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Mi apodo viene de una bebida que se llama el « cubitener » y que contiene vino. Durante una noche de celebración , tomé un « cubitener » y no quería dejarlo….así que por la mañana estaba borracho y entonces un amigo me dijo « ayer fuiste el CubiMan de la fiesta ». Hoy ya no tomo alcohol pero mantuve el apodo para recordarme que ya no debo ser alcohólico… porque el cubitener te duele demasiado la cabeza jajaja.
My nickname comes from a drink called the ‘cubitener’ which contains wine. During a night of celebration, I drank a ‘cubitener’ and I didn’t want to give it up…. so in the morning I was drunk and then a friend told me ‘yesterday you were the CubiMan of the party’. Today I don’t drink alcohol anymore but I kept the nickname to remind me that I shouldn’t be an alcoholic anymore… because the cubitener hurts your head too much hahaha.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
En los años 90 pudimos ver muchos graffiti and tags en mi bario, Tuvimos « Mazo » « Mesa » « Rmr » « Frik » « Eral » y mucho más… me encantaba dibujar y por eso copiaba las cosas que veía en las paredes. Entonces tuve la oportunidad de encontrar « Eral »(RIP) que me enseñó reglas y códigos del Graffiti y después encontré a « Came » y los miembros del TKO Crew que quien me enseño la técnica.
In the 90’s we could see a lot of graffiti and tags in my neighbourhood, we had “ Mazo ” “ Mesa ” “ Rmr ” “ ” Frik “ ” “ Eral ” and much more… I loved to draw and that’s why I copied the things I saw on the walls. Then I had the chance to meet ‘ Eral “(RIP) who taught me the rules and codes of Graffiti and then I met ” Came ’ and the members of the TKO Crew who taught me the technique.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Mi estilo es un mezcla de graffiti puro y de realismo. Me gusta mezclar y contrastar dejando transparencias para mostrar el proceso de mi trabajo como muchas ventanas al pasado y al presente. Me gusta mezclar colores, blanco y negro. Viejo y nuevo, violencia y dulce…. Una manera para mí de demostrar que incluso los opuestos pueden unirse.
My style is a mixture of pure graffiti and realism. I like to mix and contrast leaving transparencies to show the process of my work as many windows to the past and present. I like to mix colours, black and white. Old and new, violence and sweetness…. A way for me to show that even opposites can come together.

Pienso que es una oportunidad de mostrar mi trabajo y de difundir las ideas de mi corazón.
I think it is an opportunity to show my work and to spread the ideas of my heart.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Si lo recuerdo muy bien, robé dos botes de pintura de una tienda de bricolaje y fui a hacer un graffiti « ER » (Espíritu Rebelde), tenía 11 años… Mi estilo evolucionó cuando vine a vivir en este maravillosa isla que se llama Nueva Caledonia por el cambio de un lugar más urbano a un lugar más natural con habitantes mucho más amables y sonrientes.
If I remember very well, I stole two cans of paint from a DIY shop and went to make a graffiti ‘ER’ (Rebel Spirit), I was 11 years old…. My style evolved when I came to live on this wonderful island called New Caledonia because of the change from a more urban place to a more natural place with much friendlier and smiling inhabitants.

Si solo tengo que dejar un mensaje después de mi muerte será el siguiente:
« Amarse unos a otros el uno al otro unos con otros pero los amo a todos !!! »
If I have only one message to leave after my death it will be the following:
