Pienso que Mask es una cosa importante para los escritores de graffiti, al menos cada escritor tiene una mascara, que protege su salud y lo hace mas misterioso.
I think mask is an important things for graffiti writers, almost every graffiti writer has one, it protects their health and makes them more mysterious .
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Cuando estaba en el instituto, era adicto a la cultura americana, a la NBA y la música Hiphop, y me pareció que había un montón de graffiti en las películas americanas, me gustó esta escena y pensé como puedo hacer este tipo de cosas, traté de introducirme algo más profundamente.
Vi un par de piezas en Pekín por primera vez en mi vida en el año 2009, pero no tenia tiempo para empezar, pocos años después fui a la universidad e hice algunos amigos escritores y pensé que era hora de empezar a pintar.
When I was in high school , I was addicted to American culture, NBA and Hiphop music , and I found there were a lot of graffiti in American movie ,I liked the scene and I thought I can do that kind of stuff as well then I tried to dig something deeper .
I saw a couple of graffiti in Beijing first time in my life in 2009 but I didn’t have time to do it , few years later I went to collage and I made some writer friends and I thought it’s time to get started to paint.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Sólo trato de decir algo bastante simple pero difícil de hacer, todo es más y mejor, es sobre la forma en que pensé en graffiti, tratar de pintar diferentes lugares y crear mi propio estilo y mi propio lenguaje de graffiti.
I just try to say something pretty simple but difficult to make , it’s all about more and better ,it’s about the way I thought of graffiti, try to paint different spots and create my own style and my own graffiti language .

What is your style?
Solia hacer movidas de la vieja escuela y quizás un poco wild style, ahora me dedico hacer funky style.
I used to do old school stuff and perhaps a little bit wild style, now I dedicate myself to do funky stuff .

No se lo que significa elrincondelasboquillas pero sin duda es una gran oportunidad para comunicarse con mucha gente para que más gente sepa de mi.
I don’t understand what «elrincondelasboquillas” means but no doubt that’s a great chance to communicate with many people so that more people will know about me .
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
A finales de marzo de 2013, tuve una muy buena preparación y compré alrededor de 20 latas de pintura en aerosol y encontré un muro cerca de mi escuela, recuerdo que era un fin de semana y todavía hacia frío en Beijing, algunos amigos se quedaron conmigo, pasé aproximadamente 6 horas haciendo esa pieza y tuve que descansar cada 10 minutos porque mi dedo estaba demasiado cansado para presionar la boquilla hacia abajo, de todos modos estaba satisfecho con mi primera pieza, seguí apuntando el número en cada pieza que he hecho. Hasta el momento, el número asciende a 151.
In the end of march 2013 , I got a very well preparation and I bought around 20 spray paint cans and found a wall near my school , I remember that was a weekend and still cold in Beijing , some friends stayed with me , I spent approximately 6 hours on that piece and I had to take break every 10 minutes cuz my finger was too tired to press the cap down ,anyway I was satisfied with my first piece then I tagged No.1 for that and I kept on marking the number for every piece I made . The number goes up to 151 so far .

Can you talk us about the graffiti in your city?
La escena del graffiti en Pekín ha sido solamente sobre 10 años, todavía es una escena joven e inmadura, a lo más 10 escritores activos en esta ciudad grande. Algunos estamos enganchados otros no. De todos modos, es seguro que en Beijing, a la gente no le importa una mierda, a la policía tampoco.
Graffiti scene in Beijing has been only over 10 years ,still young and immature, at most 10 active writers in this big city . Some guys are pretty dope some guys aren’t . Anyway it’s safe in Beijing , people don’t really give a shit , cops neither .
¿Cuál es tu trabajo real?
What is your real job?
Soy diseñador gráfico, trabajo para una empresa de cerveza artesanal.
I am a graphic designer, i work for a craft beer company.
Y para terminar ¿algo que quieras decir?
And to finish, something you want to say?
El graffiti no es pintura con temperas, no se trata sólo de hacer piezas de buena apariencia. El color, el flow, las letras, el gusto, no importa lo simple o complejo, todo se basa en la comprensión que tengas acerca del graffiti y en tu actitud. Las cosas buenas tienen alma, están vivas y dinámicas, las cosas de mierda no tienen nada más que detalles aburridos.
Graffiti is not oil paint , it’s not about just making good looking pieces . The color ,the flow ,the lettering ,the taste,no matter simple or complex everything’s based on your understanding of graffiti and your attitude . Good stuffs have soul ,they’re alive and dynamic ,shitty stuffs have nothing but boring details .
