¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritora de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Compartir el arte. Me encanta el color, las técnicas, la variedad de estilos y el simple hecho de que cada artista tiene algo nuevo y auténtico para compartir. Creo que una de las cosas más atractivas del graffiti es que es la galería de arte de la ciudad. Está abierta y al alcance de todos.
Art sharing. I love color, the techniques, the variety of styles, the simple fact that everyone has something new and authentic to share. I think that one of the most attractive things is that graffiti is the city´s street gallery. It is open to all types of audience for everyone to see.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Creo mucho en la energía positiva, en el hecho de que cada uno tiene la fuerza, sabiduría y personalidad para superar cualquier problema. Creo que mi trabajo es un recordatorio de esto, la felicidad es un poder que nosotros mismos controlamos.
I truly believe in positive energy, in the fact that everyone has the strength, wisdom and attitude to overcome any problem. I think my work is a reminder of this; happiness is a power that we control.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
No podría definir exactamente mi estilo, pero estoy orientada por la geometría, simetría y el equilibrio.
I can´t define my style but I could say I´m oriented by geometry, symmetry and equilibrium.

Me parece que comunicar arte es una tarea muy importante y me hace feliz ser parte de esta página que tiene una diversidad tan grande de artistas.
I think communicating art is very important and it makes me happy being part of this website that has such a big diversity of artists.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Mi primer mural fue una mezcla entre emoción he incertidumbre. Fue un reto para mí ir a una escala grande y lograr la precisión que necesitaba mi trabajo. Siempre hay ese cierto nerviosismo pero mi crew me incentivó en todo momento, me enseñaron y me ayudaron a crear este muro. Significó mucho para mí su apoyo ya que este mural fue el primero de muchas nuevas experiencias.
My first piece was a mix of excitement and many questions. It was challenging for me, going to a bigger scale and being as precise as my art required. I felt nervous but my crew encouraged, taught me and helped me to create my first mural. Their support, meant a lot for me because this was the beginning of a bunch of new experiences.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti que te mantiene haciendolo?
What do you like the most about graffiti that keeps you doing it?
Hay tantas cosas, lo primero es obviamente cuanto el arte significa para mí, el sentimiento que me da pintar, la felicidad la tranquilidad. También compartir, conocer a gente que tiene el mismo sentir que tú, es un idioma que te une hasta con personas que no conoces, de otros países. Pero también es lo que provoca a otras personas, nunca me voy a olvidar lo que me dijeron dos niños mientras pintaba en un parque. Estaba empezando un mural y ellos andaban muy atentos viendo el proceso sentados atrás de mí, cuando finalmente conversamos me contaron que al verme pintar les dio muchas ganas de dibujar y fueron a su casa a coger sus cuadernos y pinturas y empezaron a crear. Ese impacto, es lo que te llena porque no hay nada más bonito que transmitir lo que uno siente por el arte.
There are so many things that I love about graffiti, the first one is obviously how much art means to me, the happiness and tranquility it brings. Also, sharing, getting to know people that have the same feeling as you do, you create bonds with artists that you don´t even know from other countries. Most importantly it is the feeling that it evokes to other people, I will never forget the words of two young boys. While I was painting a mural in a park these kids stood behind me, when we finally exchanged words they told me that they had seen my art and wanted to paint so they went to their houses and took out their notebooks and pencils and started to create. That impact, that is what motivates you because there is nothing such as transmitting what you feel for art.

MFC Masters of the Funk! Estoy agradecida de haber conocido tan locos, inspiradores y talentosos amigos. Siempre puedo contar con ellos y me han enseñado con ese verdadero cariño de hermanos.
MFC Masters of the Funk! I’m thankful to have met such crazy, inspiring and talented friends. They’ve certainly always had my back and have taught me with brotherly love.
