Mi nombre es Soze aunque en mis piezas siempre pongo PEL1, que es el nombre por el que me conoce la gente, ¿por qué?; Si me ves físicamente lo entenderás.
My name is Soze although in my pieces I always write like PEL1, which is the name by which people know me, why?; If you see me physically you will understand it.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Veía los graffitis por la calle y me quedaba alucinado, iba a todos los sitios en el momento que me enteraba que había alguna pieza nueva.
Cuando veía Beat Street me pegaba el subidón…¡y quería ser como Ramón, un escritor de fase 2! Jejej
I saw graffiti on the street and I was amazed, I went everywhere when I found out that there was a new piece.
When I saw Beat Street, It was awesome for me … and I wanted to be like Ramón, a phase 2 writer! LOL.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Como dice la letra de un rap: “Write my name on graffiti on the wall”. Sobre todo palos y muchas flechas , 3ds… en fin, reflejar un wildstyle puro acompañado con algún personaje que también me mola hacer.
As the lyrics of a rap music says: «Write my name on graffiti on the wall». Especially sticks and many arrows, 3ds … in short, reflect a pure wildstyle accompanied with a character that I like to do.

Wildstyle siempre, palos y flechas, graffiti agresivo y salvaje.

¿Qué sueles hacer en un dia normal en tu vida?
What do you usually do in a normal day in your life?
Me paso los días trabajando, pasar tiempo con mi mujer, hacer algo de deporte o ver películas son mis aficiones preferidas.
I spend my days working, spending time with my wife, doing some sports or watching movies are my favorite hobbies.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

¡Tengo algunos recuerdos! jajjaja aunque seguro que eran una mierda… lo que sí me acuerdo es que eran casi todas rellenas con pintura plástica y 4 botes para trazarla y hacía algún efecto invertido con los novelty ( al menos lo intentaba jajaj). A partir del 93 ya se puede decir que empecé en serio, aunque primero empecé haciendo personajes antes que letras.
I have some memories! LOL although sure they were a shit pieces … what I remember is that they were almost all filled with plastic paint and 4 cans to draw it and i did some reverse effect with novelty cans (at least I tried it hahah). From 1993 i can already say that I started in a good way, although first I started making characters and after i started to paint pieces.
¿Puedes hablarnos sobre el graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you talk us about the graffiti in your city?
En mi ciudad hubo un nivel muy alto de graffiteros a finales de los 90´s y principios del 2000, con gente muy buena como Kraser, Xtilo, Corem o Poli124, donde se hacían unos murales guapísimos…….eso lo echo de menos, pero aún le seguimos dando duro y además hay bastante gente joven que se lo curra y van a tope.
In my city there was a very high level of graffiti artists in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, with very good people like Kraser, Xtilo, Corem or Poli124, where some beautiful murals were made …… .I miss it, but We still keep on giving him hard and there are also a lot of young people who work hard and go hard.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti que te mantiene haciendolo?
What do you like the most about graffiti that keeps you doing it?
Todo el ritual, desde dibujar un boceto hasta plasmarlo en un muro en forma de pieza, darle color a la pared, trazar, rellenar, darle el toque final del powerline…..ver la pieza cuando terminas y tranquilamente aislarte de tus cosas cotidianas, me evade de los problemas, y si a todo eso le unes todas las amistades que te ha dado el graffiti durante 25 años piensas, bueno, ¿ que sería mi vida sin el graffiti?
All the ritual, from drawing a sketch to a wall in the form of a piece, color the wall, draw, fill .the piece.. I like give the final details with power line and I like to see the piece when i am finishing it, besides I avoid the problems when i am painting, and if you add all the friendships that graffiti has given you for 25 years, you think, well, what would my life be without graffiti?
