¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonyme come from?
La firma vino del trabajo que estaba haciendo en ese momento, diseñando posters y folletos para varios clientes, y como el nombre de «poster» era a menudo utilizado se me pegó a la cabeza. Además, me gusta el sonido del mismo tag, lo encuentro poderoso y fuerte esa firma y también es interesante de escribir.
The tag came from the work I was doing at the time, designing flyers and posters for various clients, and as the name “poster” was often used it sticked to my head. Also, I like the sound of it – I find it powerful and strong while interesting to write.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Siempre he dibujado, desde que tengo memoria. Mi padre es un excelente ilustrador y en su tiempo libre dibujaba figuras y dibujos técnicos que me inspiraban y animaban a probarme a mí mismo. Claro, la adrenalina de hacer graffitis como algo ilegal me daba más ganas de hacerlo.
I have always drawn, since I can remember. My father is an excellent illustrator and in his free time he would draw figures and technical drawings which would inspire and encourage me to try myself. Sure, the adrenaline of doing graffiti as something illegal was making me want to do it more.

What do you try to say with your artworks?
Para mí, el proceso de dibujar una pieza es un cierto tipo de introspección, donde trato de expresarme en formas que no puedo hacer con palabras. Las piezas en sí no tienen un mensaje directo o la intención de comentar u opinar sobre las cosas, sino más bien como una representación visual de mis pensamientos. Traducido a través de formas de letras y composiciones.
For me, the process of drawing a piece is a certain kind of introspective, where I try to express myself in ways I cannot do with words. The pieces themselves have no direct message or intention to comment or give opinion about things rather as a visual representation of my thoughts. Translated trough letterforms and compositions.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
No hay un formulario fijo, ni rellenado ni detalles porque sólo dibujo lo que siento en este momento. Cada pieza es una nueva historia y esa historia viene con nuevas formas, colores y elementos… Y de todo ese «desorden» de elementos trato de limpiar la forma tanto como sea posible, haciéndola legible y autosuficiente. Este tipo de estilo ha surgido en los últimos dos años, donde he estado usando el efecto 3D en lugar de sombras, o simplemente haciendo un contorno gordo. En este momento mi atención se centra principalmente en las sombras y la fuente de luz, de dónde viene y cómo se forma la letra con ella.
There is no fixed form, fill in or details because I just draw how I feel at the moment. Every piece is a new story and that story comes with new forms colours and elements…And from all that “mess» of elements I try to clear the form as much as possible, making it readable and self-sufficient. This kind of style has emerged within last couple of years, where I have been using the 3D effect rather than shadows, or merely making a fat outline. Right now my focus is mostly on shadows and the source of light, where it comes from and how the letter forms with it.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Creciendo en Bjelovar no había ningún graffiti o escena de arte urbano, y mi primer encuentro con ello fue en Krizevac y Zagreb. Cuando finalmente conseguí unos botes decidí dibujar mi primera pieza, que fue en 2005. Lo hice de noche, por supuesto, porque pensé que el graffiti sólo se hacía de noche, lol. Cuando al día siguiente me fui a ver lo que había hecho, me pareció mejor quedarme en la cama. Pero, eso me hizo hacerlo de nuevo, sólo que mejor. En ese momento, mis piezas tenían muchos colores y eran una especie de caos porque pensé que debía tener muchos elementos para que fuera genial. Desde entonces he cambiado y desarrollado mucho mi estilo, he calmado el caos y me he centrado más en la forma.
Growing up in Bjelovar there was no graffiti or street art scene, and my first encounter with it was in Križevci and Zagreb. When I finally got a hold on some cans I decided to draw my first piece, that was back in 2005. I did it by night, ofcourse, because I thought graffiti was done only by night, lol. When I wend the next day to see what I did, it seemed better if I have stayed in bed. But, that made me do it again, only better. At that time, my pieces had a lot of colours and were sort of a chaos because I thought it should have so many elements to make it cool. Since then I have changed and developed my style a lot, calmed the chaos and focus more on the form.
