¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Mi tag de Posy viene de la palabra positivo. Hace muchos años se juntaron en mi vida muchos caminos y todo ellos tenían que ver con este adjetivo positivo. Al principio fue Possi, pero meter dos letras iguales juntas no me acababa de gustar y lo cambié al tag actual de Posy.
My Posy tag comes from the word positive. Many years ago many paths came together in my life and all of them had to do with this positive adjective. At first it was Possi, but I didn’t like to put two of the same letters together and I changed it to the current Posy tag.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
De pequeño cuando estaba en el colegio ya dibujaba botes de spray en perspectiva en mis apuntes. Era una época de desconocimiento total, no tenía ni idea de lo que era el graffiti. Había una moda de robar las insignias de los coches Mercedes y colgárselas, y de llevar pantalones anchos, de hacer corros después de clases porque habían dos que se iban a pegar ( cuando no existía el bulling). Una vez saliendo del colegio con un amigo, íbamos con las mochilas andando por El Barrio de San Blas, y me dijo, espera espera, y saco un spray y vi como firmaba Kaos ( actualmente Kans), lo recuerdo como si fuera ayer mismo, yo estaba cagado, le dije que que coño hacía…ese fue un contacto directo de lo que era el graffiti, y entre la adrenalina que me causó y mi curiosidad me enganché. Me fijaba en las firmas por la calle, y veía que algunas acababan en ing, o tenían números, y mi primo el Heavy y yo comenzamos a firmar con Kanfort de los zapatos. Lo hacíamos con eso porque hubo un boom de firmas, y nuestras madres no eran tontas y nos quitaban cualquier mosca que podíamos tener. Recuerdo que íbamos a estudiar a la biblioteca, y lo primero que hacíamos era ir al bater y reventarlo, pero insisto, era todo un descubrimiento, no teníamos aun idea de lo que era el graffiti, fue una época bonita de descubrimiento. La persona con la que más he pintado y más me ha enseñado es May (Mérida), grandísimo escritor y grandísima persona, y también hubo una época muy bonita donde saqué un magazine llamado Negativos con mi gran amigo Silk (Cáceres), también he aprendido mucho de él, y sigo aprendiendo actualmente de los dos.
When I was a kid at school I was already drawing spray cans in perspective in my notes. It was a time of total ignorance, I had no idea what graffiti was. There was a fashion to steal the badges of Mercedes cars and hang them, and to wear baggy pants, to make group of fights after school because there were two who were going to hit each other (when there was no bulling). Once leaving school with a friend, we were walking with our backpacks through El Barrio de San Blas, and he told me, wait wait, and I took out a spray and saw how Kaos (now Kans) was tagging, I remember it as if it was yesterday, I was shitting myself, I told him what the hell he was doing… that was a direct contact of what graffiti was, and between the adrenaline that caused me and my curiosity I got hooked. I would look at the tags on the street, and I saw that some of them ended in ing, or had numbers, and my cousin Heavy and I started to sign with Kanfort from shoes. We would do it with that because there was a tagging boom, and our mothers weren’t dumb and would take away any flies we might have. I remember we would go to the library to study, and the first thing we would do was go to the drummer and bust it, but I insist, it was all a discovery, we still had no idea what graffiti was, it was a beautiful time of discovery. The person with whom I have painted the most and has taught me the most is May (Mérida), a great writer and a great person, and there was also a very nice time when I published a magazine called Negativos with my great friend Silk (Cáceres), I also learned a lot from him, and I’m still learning from both of them.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Mi estilo es un estilo más europeo. Me gusta jugar mucho con los colores y meter caracteres y muchos detalles en la pieza. Me gusta trabajarla. Hubo una época que lo que quería era pintar cuantas más piezas mejor, ahora estoy en la otra punta, me gusta tirarme horas con una solo pieza. Tengo influencias del diseño gráfico e ilustración, yo de hecho me dedico al diseño y animación.
My style is a more European style. I like to play a lot with colors and put characters and a lot of details in the piece. I like to work it. There was a time when I wanted to paint as many pieces as possible, now I’m on the other side, I like to spend hours with a single piece. I have influences from graphic design and illustration, in fact I’m dedicated to design and animation.

Me parece que todo lo que sea difundir cosas que merezcan la pena siempre es positivo. Y no lo digo por mi, lo digo por el graffiti en general, haces una muy buena labor de difusión, y eso siempre es de agradecer.
It seems to me that everything that is to spread things that are worthwhile is always positive. And I’m not saying it for me, I’m saying it for graffiti in general, you do a very good job of dissemination, and that is always to be appreciated.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
La recuerdo perfectamente, yo ya llevaba mucho tiempo haciendo firmas y demás, pero realmente yo no lo he considerado que pintaba graffiti porque en realidad no sabía lo que era aquello, y esta pieza fue el punto de inflexión o de madurez para decir, quiero pintar esto en las calles, y creo que fue realmente cuando empecé a hacer graffiti, lo otro era otra cosa. Fue en el 99 en Logrosán, un pueblo de Extremadura donde se celebraban la fiesta más importante del pueblo, las 24 horas de fútbol sala ja! La noche antes de la celebración agarré con mi colega que sí era del pueblo una mochila llena de botes de spray, había de todo Felton, spray color… aun no había llegado montana a Cáceres. Y fuimos detrás de una de las porterías, me hice una pieza de noche casi sin ver mientras mi amigo vigilaba, y firmé como Archer ( Arquero). Firmé así porque en aquella época teníamos un grupo de rap, y cada uno tenía como un mote de batalla (cosas de críos). Al día siguiente pudimos ver el impacto de la pintada, estuvimos en una terraza al lado del campo, y la gente no paraba de hablar de ello, si se llegan a enterar que era yo, me matan…
I remember it perfectly, I had already been doing tags and so on for a long time, but I didn’t really consider it graffiti because I didn’t really know what it was, and this piece was the turning point or maturity to say, I want to paint this in the streets, and I think that was really when I started doing graffiti, the other was something else. It was in 99 in Logrosán, a town in Extremadura where they were celebrating the most important festival of the town, the 24 hours of indoor soccer, ha! The night before the celebration I painted with my homie who was from the village a backpack full of spray cans, there was everything Felton, color spray… montana brand had not yet arrived in Cáceres. And we went behind one of the goals, I made a piece at night almost without seeing while my friend was watching, and I tagged as Archer. I tag like that because at that time we had a rap group, and each one of us had a battle nickname (kid stuff). The next day we could see the impact of the graffiti, we were on a terrace next to the field, and people did not stop talking about it, if they found out it was me, they would kill me….
