¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Tuve algunos nombres antes y nunca tuvo un significado detrás de ellos pero ahora escribo REACH hace casi 5 años. Sentí que necesitaba un nuevo nombre antes de REACH porque siempre quise 5 letras en mi nombre porque me encanta experimentar con el flow de las letras. La noche antes de cambiar mi nombre a REACH me estaba cepillando los dientes y me di cuenta de que mi cepillo de dientes se llama REACH y me hizo clic en el cerebro de inmediato, ya que me encanta escalar y llegar a los lugares más altos y mejores.
I had few names before and I never really had meaning behind it but now I write REACH nearly 5 years. I felt that I need a new name before REACH because I always wanted 5 letters in my name because I love experiment with letters and flows. The night before I changed my name to REACH I was brushing my teeth and noticed that my toothbrush is called REACH and it clicked in my brain straight away, as I love to climb and reach highest and best spots.

What motivated you to get started painting?
Me introduje en la escena del hip hop a una edad temprana, me encantó todo lo que tenía que ver con ella y quise saber más sobre la cultura. En mi barrio había algunos buenos escritores de graffiti y siempre me fijaba en ellos y buscaba sus piezas y spots. Y siempre quise crear también, así que empecé a poner mis tags y throw ups por la ciudad, pero nunca pensé que me llevaría tan lejos. Luego empecé a hacer ritmos de hip hop, pero el graffiti siempre estuvo más cerca de mi corazón. Además, siempre he vivido el estilo de vida del hip hop, así que para mí es muy natural estar en este juego.
I was introduced to hip hop scene in early age, I loved everything about it straight away and wanted to know more about culture. I had few good graffiti writers in my neighbourhood and I was always looking up to them and looking for their pieces and spots. And I always wanted to create as well, so I started to put my tags and throw ups around the city but never thought it will take me this far. Then I started to make hip hop beats but graffiti was always closer to my heart. Also I always been living hip hop lifestyle so for me its very natural to be in this game !

What is your style?
En todo mi recorrido por el graffiti he recibido la influencia de muchos escritores de graffiti y no sólo del graffiti y he probado y valorado muchos estilos, pero si tengo que describir mi estilo, diría que es clásico, limpio, simétrico, funky, con elementos de estilo dibujo animado.
In whole graffiti journey I’ve been influenced by many graffiti writers and not only graffiti and I have tried and rate many styles, but if I have to describe my style, I would say its classic, clean, symmetrical, funky, with cartoon style elements.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Definitivamente. Recuerdo que fue hace como 9 años en Letonia y ni siquiera sabía lo que estaba haciendo realmente, pero recuerdo que estaba muy motivado y decidido a hacer una pieza badass (por supuesto que no lo era) . Pero ahora cuando mi estilo se ha desarrollado y cada vez que hago una pieza me hace sentir muy bien y feliz (la mejor sensación del mundo) y no importa si me gusta del todo, porque por supuesto me siento un poco deprimido por una pieza no demasiado buena, pero siempre trato de hacerlo lo mejor posible y siempre trato de aprender de mis errores. ¡Un gran aplauso para todos los verdaderos!
Most definitely! I remember it was like 9 years ago back home in Latvia and didn’t even know what I was doing really, but remember I was very motivated and determined to do a badass piece (of course it wasn’t) . But now when my style is developed and whenever I do piece it makes me feel great and happy (best feeling in the world) and it doesn’t matter if I like it entirely because of course I feel bit down about not too good piece but I always try my best and always try to learn from my mistakes. Big ups to all the real ones !

What is your crew?
WULF crew o WULFS, no tiene ningún significado realmente porque empezó como un movimiento de hip hop al azar pero se convirtió en una crew de 4 colegas hoy en dia.
WULF crew or WULFS, it doesn’t have any meaning really because it started as random hip hop movement but it became 4 man crew at the moment.
