Where does your pseudonime come from?
Me llamo Sane. Crecí en un pueblo a las afueras de Nápoles. El nombre viene del hecho de que crecí en un barrio que no era saludable en ese momento, Digamos que todo el país estaba jodido en ese momento. Crecí viendo a la gente traficando, robando, peleandose, intimidando a otros que no eran como ellos, para sentirse mas poderosos que el resto, presumiendo de sus actos. Estaban en esa mierda las personas que temían sentirse excluidos fueron los que cayeron en el brazo de la micro-camorra organizada. Desde entonces me di cuenta de que el aire que respiraba no era para mí, era insalubre… Por eso me llamo Sane, que significa SALUD MENTAL.
My name is Sane. I grew up in a village on the outskirts of Naples. The name comes from the fact that I grew up in a neighborhood that was unhealthy at the time, Let’s just say the whole country was at the time. I grew up seeing people dealing, robbing, fighting, intimidating others who were not like themselves, feeling strong, bragging about their deeds. Making people who didn’t embrace that way of life seem strange… It was those who were afraid to feel included who fell into the terror of the organized micro-camorra. From then on I realized that the air I was breathing wasn’t for me, it was unhealthy… That’s why my name is Sane, which means HEALTH OF MIND.
Il mio nome è Sane. Sono cresciuto in un paese in periferia di Napoli. Il nome deriva dal fatto di essere cresciuto in un quartiere che all’epoca era malsano, Diciamo un po’ tutto il paese all’epoca lo era. Sono cresciuto vedendo gente che spacciava, rapinava,facevano risse, intimoriva gli altri che non erano come loro stessi, sentendosi forti, vantandosi delle loro gesta. Facendo sembrare strano chi non abbracciava quello stile di vita.. È chi era impaurito per sentirsi incluso cadeva nel braccio della microcamorra organizzata. Da lì in poi capii che quell’aria che si respirava non faceva per me è che era malsana.. Per questo il mio nome è Sane. che significa SANO DI MENTE.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Siempre me ha fascinado el dibujo, porque a mi hermano mayor le gustaba dibujar de vez en cuando. A veces incluso le gustaba dibujar con sprays. Pero he dibujado desde que tenía 6 años.
Empecé como breaker a los 11 años, con un amigo afro-italiano, y de ahí en adelante vinieron los primeros tags que era tan solo un simple betún de zapatos, botes de spray, las primeras firmas en pompas.
Al estar ligado al dibujo, en cierto modo sentí que me fascinaba mucho más la disciplina de la escritura, así que a partir de ahí, elegí sumergirme en la escritura. las primeras búsquedas en internet llegaron porque todavía somos muy desconocidos como cultura, y empecé a ver primero todos los estilos/nombres americanos. Y entonces empecé a conocer a otros chicos de Nápoles que ya practicaban esta disciplina y ya eran parte de esta cultura en continua evolución!
I’ve always been fascinated by drawing, because my older brother liked to draw from time to time. Sometimes he even enjoyed drawing with sprays. But I’ve been drawing since I was 6 years old.
I started as a breaker at the age of 11, with an Afro/Italian friend, and from then on came the first markers that were simple shoe polish, spray cans, the first throw-up tags.
Being linked to drawing, in a way I felt that I was much more fascinated by the discipline of writing, so from there, I chose to immerse myself in writing. the first internet searches arrived because we still very unknown as a culture, and I started to see all the American styles/names first. And then I started to meet other guys from Naples who were already practicing this discipline and were already part of this culture in continuous evolution!
Sono sempre stato affascinato dal disegno, poiché a mio fratello maggiore gli piaceva di tanto in tanto disegnare. Qualche volta sì è divertito a disegnare anche con gli spray. Ma disegnavo già dall’età di 6 anni.
Ho iniziato come breaker all’età di 11 anni, con un amico Afro/italiano, e da lì in poi arrivarono i primi marker che erano semplici lucida scarpe, le lattine spray, le prime tag i primi throw-up.
Essendo legato al disegno, in un certo senso sentivo che mi affascinava molto di più la disciplina del writing, così da li, scelsi di immergermi nel writing. arrivarono le prime ricerche internet poiché a noi ancora molto sconosciuta come cultura,è ho iniziato a vedere prima tutti gli stili/nomi americani.. Per poi iniziare a conoscere altri ragazzi di Napoli che già praticavano questa disciplina e facevano già parte di questa cultura in continua evoluzione!!

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Intento transmitir emociones, estados de ánimo a través de los colores, con el entrelazamiento de letras, líneas, flujo… El poder del graffiti. Intento transmitir algo mágico a través de los graffitis a través de los colores. Emociones! emociones simples, donde las palabras no pueden llegar, mientras que en cambio los colores creo que son una especie de cuidado del alma.
I try to convey emotions, moods through colors, with the interlocking of letters, lines, flow… The power of graffiti. I try to convey something magical through graffiti through colors. Emotions! simple emotions, where words can’t arrive, while instead colors I think they are a kind of care for the soul.
Cerco di trasmettere emozioni, stati d’animo attraverso i colori, con gli incastri di lettere, le linee il flow.. Il potere dei graffiti. Provo a trasmette un qualcosa di magico attraverso ai graffiti attraverso ai colori. Emozioni! semplici emozioni, li dove le parole non possono arrivare, mentre invece i colori penso che siano una sorte di cura per l’anima.

¡Creo que es genial! No tengo problemas en compartir mi graffiti en internet, de hecho creo que es una buena manera de tener conexiones con otros escritores de graffiti. Hoy en día, más del 80% de los graffitis están en Internet.

Penso che sia figo! Non ho problemi nel condividere i miei graffiti in internet, anzi penso che sia un buon mezzo per avere connessioni con altri graffiti writers. Oggi maggiormente l’80% dei graffiti girano in internet.

Tienes que compartir las cosas buenas con la gente adecuada. No te dejes envolver por la mala energía, ¡mantente positivo! y que se joda la negatividad y las malas vibraciones.

Bisogna condividere le cose belle con le persone giuste. Non lasciatevi avvolgere da cattive energie, restare positivi! e fanculo la negatività e le cattive vibrazioni.
