¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Utilicé la firma Shine (del libro de Stephen King «Shining») cuando me mudé a Milán. Hacia 2002 utilicé Shiner. Luego ShineRoyal (en italiano, REAL, como en la realeza, se traduce como REALE, pero la misma palabra REALE también significa REAL).
I used the tag Shine (from Stephen King’s book “Shining”) when I moved to Milan. Around 2002 I used Shiner. Then ShineRoyal (in Italian, ROYAL, as in regality, translates to REALE, but the same word REALE also means REAL).
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
De niño me gustaban mucho los cómics y en la adolescencia, escuchando hip hop y rap me fascinaban las obras de arte de los libretos de los discos, en particular recuerdo las fotos de los CDs ARTICOLO 31, realizados por la que sería mi crew muchos años después, la histórica TDK.
El entrenamiento en las calles formó parte del traslado a Milán a los 18 años con la crew INT55, y en 2009 del viaje a Los Ángeles cuando me uní a TDK.
As a kid I really liked comics and in adolescence, listening to hip hop and rap I was fascinated by the artworks in the album booklets, in particular I remember the photos in the ARTICOLO 31 CDs, made by what would become my crew many years later, the historic TDK.
Training on the streets was part of the move to Milan at 18 with the INT55 crew, and in 2009 the trip to Los Angeles when I joined TDK.

Soy diseñador de personajes, enamorado de la caligrafía y las fuentes. De la idea al boceto, a la pared y más allá!!!.
I’m a character designer, in love with calligraphy and fonts. From the idea to the sketch, to the wall and beyond!!.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Creo que mis primeras experiencias fueron pobres en términos de realización estética. Pero nunca olvidaré mi «entrenamiento» en las calles de Milán con INT55 CREW. Trasnochar, comida basura, manos sucias, botes de spray por todas partes, libertad, felicidad, sentirse vivo y fluir gracias al graffiti.
I think my first experiences were poor in terms of aesthetic accomplishment. But I will never forget my “training” on the streets of Milan with INT55 CREW. Late nights, junk food, dirty hands, spray cans everywhere, freedom, happiness, feeling alive and flowing thanks to graffiti.

Quiero dar las gracias a todas las personas que me han apoyado en mi viaje artístico, desde los miembros de mi crew en Milán hasta mis mentores y cualquiera que haya apreciado mi trabajo. El arte es una forma de expresión que nos une, y espero inspirar a otros a seguir sus pasiones. Seguid creando y soñando, y no tengáis miedo de ser vosotros mismos. El camino es largo, pero cada paso es importante.
I want to thank all the people who have supported me on my artistic journey, from my crew members in Milan to my mentors and anyone who has appreciated my work. Art is a form of expression that brings us together, and I hope to inspire others to follow their passions. Keep creating and dreaming, and don’t be afraid to be yourself. The road is long, but every step matters.
