¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Cuando comencé ya tenía unos amigos en esto, ellos me dijeron que necesitaba un tag, me puse a pensar en muchos pero no encontraba ninguno que me convenciera, en ese tiempo yo tenía un celular de marca Sony Ericsson el cual perdí, entre broma y broma con los amigos de mi barrio me dijeron pinta Sony jajaja, siguiéndoles el juego me puse a hacer unos tags de sony en la cuadra, me gustaba el sonido y como se veía ya en los primeros días decidí darle un poco de autenticidad y lo comencé a poner como ‘’Sonik’’ y sin pensar quedo de por vida.
When I started I already had some friends in this, they told me I needed a tag, I started to think of many but could not find any that convinced me, at that time I had a Sony Ericsson cell phone which I lost, between joke and joke with friends in my neighborhood they told me to paint Sony hahaha, following their game I started to make some sony tags in the block, I liked the sound and as it looked already in the early days I decided to give it a little authenticity and I started to put it as »Sonik» and without thinking it remained for life.

Cuando comencé tenía un primo de mi edad el que pintaba, el me introduzco al mundo del graffiti, a mí de niño siempre me encantaba dibujar colorear todo lo que podía, cuando descubrí el graffiti fue una forma de poder mostrar al mundo lo que me gustaba hacer.
When I started I had a cousin my age who painted, he introduced me to the world of graffiti, as a child I always loved to draw and color everything I could, when I discovered graffiti it was a way to show the world what I liked to do.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Siempre estoy tratando de innovar y romper parámetros, desde que comencé quería aprender a hacer de todo, he hecho desde bombing, dibujos animados, piezas wildstyle y foto realismo, yo diría que sigo aprendiendo y formándome como artista busco ser completo y poder darle calidad a mi trabajo desde cualquier plataforma.
I’m always trying to innovate and break parameters, since I started I wanted to learn to do everything, I’ve done from bombing, cartoons, wildstyle pieces and photo realism, I would say that I’m still learning and training as an artist I seek to be complete and to be able to give quality to my work from any platform.

Do you remember the first piece?
Claro, tenía 14 años fue en el 2011 estaba en vacaciones del colegio y mi primo me llevo a conocer a una crew (urban style crew) de su barrio y me ayudaron a hacer mi primera pinta en un spot que tenían como crew, muchas gracias a ellos y mucho respeto fueron los primeros amigos en el Graffiti que conocí.
Of course, I was 14 years old in 2011 I was on vacation from school and my cousin took me to meet a crew (urban style crew) from his neighborhood and they helped me do my first painting in a spot they had as a crew, thanks to them and much respect were the first friends in Graffiti that I met.

Estoy viviendo un sueño que de niño tenía y todos me decían que era imposible, estoy viviendo de mi trabajo como artista gracias a las decisiones que yo tome y a mi compromiso conmigo mismo, pónganle fe y disciplina, el Graffiti para mí ha sido significado de desarrollo personal.
I am living a dream since i was a child and everyone told me it was impossible, I am living from my work as an artist thanks to the decisions I made and my commitment to myself, put faith and discipline, Graffiti for me has meant personal development.
