¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Mi nombre no tiene un significado concreto. Después de probar algunos, seleccioné las letras que más me gustaban: s, e y w. Cuando empecé a viajar, alguien empezó a bromear sobre él, leyéndolo como ‘tan mojado’, en el sentido de estar muy mojado, pero a mí me hace gracia.

My name doesn’t have a particular meaning. After trying out some, I selected the letters I liked the most: s, e, and w. When I started traveling, someone started joking about it, reading it as ‘so wet,’ in the sense of being very wet, but I find it funny.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Al venir de un pueblo muy pequeño, no tenía ejemplos de graffiti a mi alrededor. Descubrí el graffiti a través de YouTube en 2016 y, desde entonces, mi vida ha cambiado para siempre. Me intrigaba este mundo porque no conocía a nadie que pintara, así que me parecía algo en lo que profundizar y descubrir…».

Coming from a very small town, I didn’t have examples of writing around me. I discovered graffiti through YouTube in 2016, and since then, my life has changed forever. I was intrigued by this world because I didn’t know anyone who painted, so it seemed like something to delve into and discover

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

En el graffiti, pinto sobre todo letras. Me nutro de diversas influencias para construir mis formas. Intento combinar elementos de la pintura clásica italiana con formas derivadas de modelos de robots japoneses, coches de carreras e ilustraciones fantásticas. Es un viaje extraño. Otra estética de la que bebo mucho es el Barroco, desde la perspectiva de la arquitectura y el arte figurativo.

In graffiti, I mainly paint letters. I draw from various influences to construct my forms. I try to combine elements of classical Italian painting with shapes derived from Japanese robot models, racing cars, and fantasy illustrations. It’s a strange trip. Another aesthetic from which I draw a lot is the Baroque, from the perspective of architecture and figurative art.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Hice mi primera obra en un lugar abandonado cerca de mi casa con botes de spray comprados en la ferretería cuando tenía 16 años. Mi estilo ha cambiado mucho en comparación con aquella obra, también porque con los años continué estudios artísticos que han influido mucho en mi técnica. Al principio, la sensación que tenía al pintar estaba más relacionada con la adrenalina, mientras que ahora me centro más en lo que pinto, tomándome el tiempo adecuado para hacer una obra bonita. Sin duda, algo que he mantenido a lo largo de los años es el hambre de pintar todo lo posible, intentando mejorar mis letras cada vez más.

I did my first piece in an abandoned spot near my home with spray cans bought at the hardware store when I was 16 years old. My style has changed a lot compared to that piece, also because over the years, I continued artistic studies that have greatly influenced my technique. At the beginning, the feeling I had when painting was more related to adrenaline, whereas now I focus more on what I paint, taking the right time to make a nice piece. Certainly, one thing I have kept over the years is the hunger to paint as much as possible, trying to improve my letters more and more.

En primer lugar, quiero agradecerle esta entrevista y el interés que ha mostrado por mí. Además, tras haber pintado en el Encuentro de Estilos de Sevilla y Granada el año pasado y haber visitado Madrid y Bilbao, me gusta mucho la escena española. Admiro mucho a muchos escritores de su país; me han inspirado mucho. Además, siempre hay una fuerte conexión entre italianos y españoles. Habría muchos escritores españoles que mencionar, pero no voy a nombrar a ninguno porque temo olvidarme de alguien, pero ellos lo saben.

First of all, I would like to thank you for this interview and for the interest you have shown in me. Furthermore, having painted at the Meeting of Styles in Seville and Granada last year and having visited Madrid and Bilbao, I am very fond of the Spanish scene. I greatly admire many writers from your country; they have inspired me a lot. Additionally, there is always a strong connection between Italians and Spaniards. There would be many Spanish writers to mention, but I won’t name any because I’m afraid of forgetting someone, but they know.
