En ingles, uso ‘SUED’. Quiero encontrar que el nombre en Inglés suene similar al nombre de Corea. Corea tiene muchas caracteristicas bonitas; quise usar un estilo coreano creativo utilizando mi nombre. Por eso es por lo que decidí usar el nombre coreano. En inglés se lee ‘Hwan-su’. Esto significa que la persona importante se ha presentado.
In English, I use ‘SUED’. I want it to find that English name sounds similar to Korean name.
Korea has many beautiful characteristics; I wanted to use creative Korean style using my name. That’s why I decided to use Korean name. In English, it reads ‘Hwan-su’. This means that the important person has showed up.

Esto es algo muy bueno que yo quería hacer. Ser capaz de describir a varios artistas, no sólo con sus dibujos y fotografías, sino sus historias ya que son actividades muy buenas.
Me gustaría conocer al artista en persona y hacerle una entrevista para publicar sus historias en la web en Corea. Hay muchos pintores fantásticos en el mundo.
This is very good thing that I wanted to do. Being able to describe various artists, not just do their drawings and pictures but do their stories is very worth activities.
I would like to meet artist in person and do interview to published their stories on the published web-site in Korea. There are many fantastic painters over the world.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What you try to say with your graffiti?
No quiero decir mensajes complicados o personales a través de mis graffitis. Pero sólo quiero mostrar la pasión y la acción con las cosas que hago. Si la gente puede sentir o entender mis mensajes y sentir alegría, eso es lo que viene de la satisfacción.
I don’t want it to say complicated or personal messages through my graffiti. But I just want it shows passion and action things that I want to do. If people can feel or understand my messages and feel joy, that’s what I satisfaction comes from.
¿Qué sprays usas?
What sprays do you use?
Uso ‘DongSuh spray’ que es lo que más se usa en Corea. No se venden productos extranjeros, tales como Montana y Belton. Ya que hay muchas limitaciones en términos de tener acceso a estos sprays extranjeros, hay dificultades para su uso aqui en Corea.
I use ‘DongSuh spray’ which is the most using one in Korea. They don’t sell foreign products such as Montana and Belton. As there are a lot of limitations in terms of having access to these foreign sprays, there are difficulties to use it in Korea.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Me gusta dibujar desde que era joven. Expresar y crear algo es una actividad muy agradable. Mientras estaba en la escuela, me encontré con un amigo que me metió en el graffiti. Estaba empezando a coger un spray.
I like drawing since when I was young. Expressing and creating something is very enjoyable activity. While I was in school, I met a friend who got me into drawing graffiti. It was starting to catch a spray.
¿Cuál es el estilo que usas?
What is the style you use?
Hasta hace poco, y hasta ahora a veces dibujo el nombre Inglés » SUED». Pero hoy en día trato de mantenerme con letras coreanas. Siendo coreano y siendo único que es lo que estoy buscando en estos días. Desde el principio, quiero ser diferente. Las Letras coreanas son Bonitas.
Until recently, and even now I sometimes draw English name ‘SUED’. But nowadays I try to stay with Korean letters. Being Korean and being unique is what I am looking for these days. From the beginning, I want it to be different. Korean letters are beautiful.
¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you talk about this as the graffiti in your city?
Hay mucho movimiento y va mejorando el graffiti en Corea. Hay un montón de escritores de graffiti que tienen talento y con experiencia. Ahora hay más exposiciones y eventos en Corea.
Una gran cantidad de lugares para pintar, y estamos viendo más obras de calidad.
Si tienes cuidado en la forma de actuar en Corea, no deberias tener problemas a la hora de hacer graffiti.
There are a lot of movement and improvement in Korean graffiti. There are lots of graffiti writers who are talented and experienced. There are now more exhibitions and events in Korea.
A lot of places to paint, and we are seeing more quality works.
If you are careful in your performance in Korea, it should not be in trouble doing graffiti.
¿Quiénes son tus escritores favoritos?
Who are your favorite writers?
Recientemente conocí a Suiko, que es uno de mis escritores favoritos. Fue genial hablar de diferentes historias con el, también fue genial ver el continuo trabajo duro que hace para que pueda llegar a ser tan bueno como él. También me interesa Sago de Italia. Él es un gran talento en la creación de increibles curvas únicas. Verdaderamente quiero conocerlo. Si es un artista creativo y único, esas son las personas que me gustaría conocer.
Recently met Suiko is one of my favorite writers. I was great to talk about different stories and I also great to see who continuously works hard to be as good as he is. I also interested in Sago from Italy. He is great talented in drawing beautiful and unique curves. I really want it to meet him. If artist is creative and unique, those are the people who that I like to meet.

And to finish something you want to say?
Me gustaría conocer a un montón de gente y tener la oportunidad de pintar juntos. Con esta entrevista, espero hacer un montón de nuevos amigos y ser capaz de comunicarme con gente de diferentes sitios. Si vienen a Corea, me gustaría saber de ellos. Hay mucha gente que está desarrollando aún sus habilidades y con su pasión, siguen mejorando. Si nos comunicamos mejor los unos con los otros, está cultura puede avanzar a un ritmo más rápido. Me gustaría tener más oportunidades de conocer a más gente, y también ser capaz de visitar a otros amigos e intercambiar ideas y tener una mejor comunicación. Gracias!
I’d like to meet a lot of people and have opportunity to spray together. With this interview, I hope to get to meet a lot of new friends and be able to communicate with people from different back ground. If they come to Korea, I’d like to hear from them.
There are a lot of people who are still yet to develop their skills and with their passion, they are still worked out. If we communicate better with each others, this culture can advance at much faster pace. I’d like to see more opportunity from meet you invite other friends, also I’d like to able to visit other friends to exchange ideas and have better communications.
