¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Mi pseudónimo viene de la abreviación de la palabra tóxico , la cual empece a utilizar por que al iniciar a hacer graffiti las personas alrededor mío no les gustaba mucho la idea de que me gustara escribir en paredes y preferían alejarse de mi , igual como algún a un ser tóxico , por lo que decidí usar la palabra Tox solo como recordatorio de donde vengo , también decidí agregar la letra M de mi apellido el cual es Murillo para poder diferenciarme un poco mas.

My pseudonym comes from the abbreviation of the word toxic, which I started using because when I started doing graffiti the people around me didn’t really like the idea that I would like to write on walls and they preferred to get away from me, just like some a toxic being, so I decided to use the word Tox just as a reminder of where I come from, I also decided to add the letter M from my last name which is Murillo to be able to differentiate myself a little more.

Mi mayor motivación al principio fue ver tags, bombas y piezas en el centro de Guadalajara, también algunos artistas de mi barrio, a quienes aún respeto por todo el impacto que tuvieron en mí en ese momento, que fueron pieza fundamental para despertar mi interés en el Graffiti.

My greatest motivation at the beginning was to see tags , booms and pieces in the downtown of Guadalajara, also some artists from my neighborhood, whom I still respect for all the impact they had on me at that time, who were a fundamental piece in awakening my interest. in Graffiti.

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Realmente siento que no tengo un estilo definido, tal vez mi trabajo se inclina hacia el surrealismo y el realismo en este momento, eso probablemente cambie en el futuro.

I really feel like I don’t have a defined style, maybe my work leans towards surrealism and realism at the moment, that will probably change in the future.

I think it is a very good space to share your work with colleagues and people, which I appreciate for giving me the space to show what I paint!!

Do you remember the first piece?

claro que lo recuerdo !! mi primer pieza fue unas letras 3d que decían toxik junto un spraypaint con rostro , lo pinte a los 14 años en mi cuarto en aquellos días en Mexico !, fue una excelente sensación que tuve en ese momento !, mi estilo a cambiado mucho desde aquel día pero aun sigo sintiendo la misma satisfacción cuando termino una pieza !!

of course I remember !! My first piece was some 3D letters that said toxic along with a spray paint with a face, I painted it at the age of 14 in what was my room in those days in Mexico! It was an excellent feeling I had at that time! My style has changed a lot since that day but I still feel the same satisfaction when I finish a piece!!
