Where does your pseudonime come from?
VIOLENT era mi apodo en la universidad, y en ese momento también estaba empezando a interesarme en street art/graffiti y tan sólo use ese nombre.
VIOLENT was my college nickname, and at that time also I’m starting intrested in streetarts/graffiti & I just used that name.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Después de jugar al videojuego «MarcEcko: Getting Up» conocí «términos» de graffiti como «throw-up», «firmas», «plantillas», etc. Eso me hizo probar mis propias firmas… Empecé a bombardear con stencil, pegatinas, con pasta y finalmente graffiti a mano alzada.
After played video game “MarcEcko:Getting Up” I knew graff “terms” like throw-up, tagging, stenciling & etc. That’s made me to try my own tags..I started bombing with stencil, stickers, wheat-pasting and finally freehand graffiti.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Sólo disfruté pintando graffitis por la adrenalina, la auto-satisfacción. A veces por hacer activa la escena local.
I just enjoyed painting graffiti because of adrenaline, self-statisfation. Sometimes for made local scene active.

Muy bueno para conectar y ver otros estilos en el mundo del graffiti. En esta era la gente que pinta esta más expuesta en Internet. Desde mi primer año pintando compro las revistas de graffiti pero ahora ya no existen muchas revistas de graffiti. Una web de graffiti como esta es la mejor para que los novatos tengan referencias y conozcan a escritores con talento que nunca antes habían conocido.
Very good for connects & to see others styles in graffiti world. This era people more exposed graffiti on internet,. From my early year I’m using buying graffiti magazine but now not many graffiti magazine exist anymore. Graffiti web like this is the best for newbie to make references & know talented graffiti artists who never known before.

Do you remember the first piece?
Mi primera pieza fue un personaje que hice en 2008 (comencé en el graffiti a mano alzada con personajes) y mi primer intento de hacer un graffiti con letras fue en 2009.
En 2007 en Malasia, no teniamos nada adecuado para pintar graffiti, solíamos pintar con botes de alta presión, válvula dura y pintura que goteaba que flipas, muy difícil de controlar para algunas personas. Realmente luchabamos para controlar las latas y esa vez solía pintar con gorros de laca porque es muy difícil encontrar boquillas de spray (antes de que existiera el adaptador de boquillas) las únicas boquillas que se ajustaban eran los scotchcaps-femalecaps eran muy difíciles de conseguir y con colores limitados. Pero ahora muchas tiendas de graffiti se han abierto y las marcas se venden aquí con más opciones de colores.
My first piece was a character I painted in 2008 (I started freehand graffiti with characters) & my first try lettering graffiti was in 2009.
In 2007 in Malaysia, we had not anything proper graffiti paint, we used to painting with high pressure cans, hard valve & paint easy to drips really hard to control for some people. we really struggle to control cans & that time i used to paint with hairspray caps because really hard to find spraycaps (before caps adapter exist) the only caps fitted is scotchcaps-femalecaps and really hard to gets & limited colors. But now many graffshop opened & brands sells here with more colours choices.

Después de casi 14 años en este juego sigo disfrutando pintando graffitis y sigo mejorando mis habilidades y aprendiendo nuevas técnicas. Por último, gracias a Elrincondelasboquillas por esta oportunidad, ¡saludos desde Malasia!
