¿Por qué tu tag es Yu-baba?
Why is your tag Yu-baba?
No hay una historia especial con mi nombre. Tenia que quedarme con un nombre de cuenta para una red social. Y cualquier cosa me vino a la mente para usar el nombre del personaje de la serie de dibujos animados, la bruja Yu-baba de Hayao Miyazaki que vi unos días antes. Desde esto mis amigos empezaron a llamarme así. Este nombre se ha convertido en parte de mi.
There is no a special story with my name. I had to come up with an account nick-name for one of social network. And something came to my mind to use the name of the character Yu-baba the witch from cartoon Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki which I saw some days before. Since that my friends started to call me like that. This name has become the part of me.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
En el ultimo periodo de mi forma de arte he estado dibujando retratos femeninos rodeados de elementos imaginarios, formas geométricas o algunas veces animales.
Es muy satisfactorio el proceso de pintar chicas bonitas combinando formas, valor y textura. Espero que el espectador llegue a hipnotizarse por su aspecto y poder. Trato de añadir belleza y mas color a mi vida.
Latest period of my art way I’ve often been drawing the female portraits surrounded with imaginary elements, geometric shapes or animals sometimes.
It’s very pleasant process to paint pretty girls by combining shapes, value and texture. I hope that the viewer becomes somewhat hypnotized by their look and power. I try to add some beauty and more color into my life.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser una escritora de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Empecé boceteando un año antes. No tenia intención de pintar en muros. No era mi plan. Mi amigo estaba «enfermo» con el graffiti y el muralismo. El estaba pintando y yo estaba vigilando por si venia la policía. Viajamos alrededor de europa y conocimos muchos buenos artistas en nuestro camino. Un día en Alemania solo por diversion decidí intentar pintar en la pared. Desde esto no puedo parar de pintar dado que disfruto mucho del proceso. Sobre los últimos años el graffiti ha llegado a ser parte de mi vida.
I started to sketching one year earlier. I didn’t intend to paint at walls. It wasn’t my plan. My friend already was «ill» with graffiti and muralism. He was painting, I was keeping an eye out for police. We traveled around Europe and met a lot of cool artist on our way. One day at Germany only for fun I decided to try to paint on the wall. Since that I can’t stop to paint and enjoy the process a lot. Over some last years graffiti became a part of my life.
¿Dónde te gusta pintar?
Where do you like to paint?
Desafortunadamente no puedo pintar en las calles de mi ciudad, no hay muros legales. Las reglas sobre pintar son muy duras y mi ciudad esta muy limpia. Me gusta viajar y pintar en nuevas ciudades y países.
Unfortunately I can’t paint in the streets in my city, there are no legal walls. The rules about painting outside are very hard and city is very clean. I like traveling and painting in new cities and countries.
